im not sure what major or field i would like to do...
i was thinking of either OPTOMETRY or TEACHING (global history)

what are the pros & cons of each one?
i also want to know what things i should do to prepare for each field.
of course my parents want me to become an optometrist, and it is an option for me.
but i'd love to teach history instead. (its something i enjoy)

im still unsure on how to become a teacher.
does anyone else want to be a teacher?

(i already know alot of stuff pertaining to optometry)

i'm an elementary ed major.
everyone thinks it's easy, but it's actually not.
i mean, yeah, some classes are entertaining.
i'm currently taking a music class,
and it's funnnn! <3
some of my classes require clinicals,
(which is a regular visit to schools and writing reports about it).
but i think it's fun. =)

ummm.
cons about teaching? praxis exams.
haha.

if you love teaching and have patience to deal with students,
then you're good to go. =)

i mean, i have a LOVE for global & teaching kids... i dont really mind it i guess.

are the practice exams difficult?
its like seeing how well you work in a school environment right?
im pretty sure an education major is slightly easier than med school. (in my opinion i guess, since i abhor science + math LOL)
im still deciding between the two. TT__TT

praxis exams are similar to SAT's,
and there's opportunities to take practice praxis exams.

and yes,
i'm sure it's definitely easier than med school.
