Hi, So i'm having an issue downloading from an FTP server on both my firefox and safari. In my firefox, When i click on the link, a blank screen pops up and then the quicktime logo comes up in the middle of the screen (on the blank page). But then after a moment or so, a question mark appears in front of the quicktime logo and an error pops up.
I know that I used to be able to download from ftp servers a while back.. but it seems i am unable to do it anymore.
I dont think it has to do with the other party's bandwith or anything like that.. i think it may have something to do with my broswer? Or maybe a setting on my quicktime? I dont want my browser to play the video, I want to download the video.
Also.. Ive heard of FTP client, but considering i dont really download alot of stuff.. id like to just stick with my browser.. ^^

Have you tried
right click->save...
to see if it downloads and then playing the file from hard disk?

Browsers were not made to FTP, there are a TON of issues with FTP'ing through a browser. You could have one of many many issues. Why not just download a quick, easy to use, and nice program and not worry about having problems?
