Join us Saturday, Feb. 21, 2009 @ the SHRINE Auditorium as Kollaboration Los Angeles presents the BIGGEST Asian talent show in American history to date!

NOTE:
"One of the biggest knocks on Asian Americans is that we don’t support each other in the entertainment industry. We harshly judge our own entertainers for either being too white, too black, and if you can believe it, too Asian. Kollaboration is a platform where young Asian Americans can perform in front of a live crowd. This show will open the minds of those who don’t give Asian Americans a chance when it comes to expressing themselves creatively. And hopefully, through it, we can witness a new type of Asian American artform we can claim as our own."

I went! It was pretty awesome. I'm a first-timer for Kollab, and I really really enjoyed it. All the performers were really talented and the guest performers were really good. BoA performed "Eat You Up" and "Look Who's Talking"--not her best performances but pretty cool. Meeting the contestants were really cool, hahaha. Everyone was really nice and friendly. Sadly, BoA didn't come out so no pics/chat with her. After party was pretty lame, sadly. XD Great show though.

Kenichi won 1st, Jane Lui won 2nd, and Lilybeth was 3rd. It was a pretty cool event, my first time going to Kollab. I wished boA would've performed Eien cuz that's a much better song than her English ones. I didn't go to the afterparty, how did that go?
