I'm expecting the martial arts/action to be pretty good since half the cast are practically martial artists and aren't real actors. But I could be wrong (Dragonball Evolution).

Anyway, John Foo is wow, easy on the eyes. Lol.
I'm not too fussed about this cast but really, why does Kazuya sport facial hair in this movie? And his head hair has suddenly stopped resisting gravity.

And yes, the DOA movie was such a huge flop. Fingers crossed that Tekken doesn't completely suck ass.

most if not all game/anime made into movie havnt been great in my opinion,even more worse when the movie version changes critical things in the game/anime that makes it great in the first place e.g full metal panic,dragon ball, doa

I would be happy if they just made the movie in CGI or something like FF7 Advent children or the somewhat okay Resident Evil Degeneration

The only anime/game made into movie thats great so far to me is Death Note.

Yeah they are but no news has been made that Zac Efron has been cast. There's just been a lot of pictures floating around that compare Efron to Light cause they look eerily similar, that's all. In fact, I don't even think an adpated script has been written yet. The project itself has only just been green lit by Vertigo.

I don't care what ppl say about how the live action isn't gonna be as good, but I'm still gonna watch it. I really hope it will be better than the DRAGONBALL EVOLUTION and LEGEND OF CHUN LI because some of these actors (for tekken) can do real action, like Jon Foo, Cung Le, Nathan Jones, and Lateef Crowder.



Jon Foo is Irish-Chinese and grew up in London, England. However, he is currently based in Los Angeles, California. He has starred in Tom-Yum-Goong (US title: The Protector), Batman Begins, House of Fury, Left for Dead, and Life (Shi cha qi xiao shi). He also does stunts for other actors. He is to play Jin Kazama in the Dwight H Little directed movie Tekken due for release in 2009.

And by the way, I personally hate all Hwoarang players, you won't believe the amount of pokes they hit you with and how easily they can launch and juggle you (but then again I'm probably just a bad Tekken player).

^ Nah, Hwoarang doesn't really have anything to do with the main story, other than claiming to be Jin's eternal rival. But yeah, the main bulk of Tekken is focused on the family problems within the Mishima household.

^ I wouldn't go so far as to call Dragonball Evolution a flop. I mean Western audiences aren't embracing it for the obvious reasons that it's practically a horrible movie but it's been warmly received in numerous parts of Asia and much of it's money has come from there. Don't worry, once the much more popular DBZ movie is made, I'm sure everyone will be ecstatic.
