so i was looking at some cars today.. i'm thinking of getting a roadster for my next car.. (the new z4 coming out in may looks pretty nice..and the current one doesn't look bad either) and since roadsters are pretty small, i'd need a beater when i need the space.. not to mention it's probably not a good idea to drive a nice car around all the time risking to get door dents and what not at ghetto places.. i think i also heard that i can get a cheaper insurance rate if i list the nice car as a weekend car with the beater as the everyday car..

so what are some good reliable beaters? i was looking at some infiniti g20's although they seem kinda small for sedans.. i'd like a decent looking 4 dr 4 cyl beater that gets a good mileage.. preferably under 7k? doesn't matter manual or auto.. i can drive both.

G20 is a go..

Along with older Civic like the 96-00 coupes or 4 doors..

Old Lexus maybe..

I'll be looking for one next month..

My Brother in law got a 94 for 1500 all it need was a radiator...

I helped my friend buy a G20. He got the touring package and all.

Only complains are lack of power. The car is heavy too. I think if you're going to buy a beater, be true to the beater, buy something under 3 or 4k.

I run around in a 2000 Civic EX as a daily. Awesome gas mileage, parts are a dime a dozen and they're easy to fix if something does go wrong, reliable, etc. Plus I don't mind parking it wherever which is something I haven't really experienced before smile.gif It's kind of nice!

What is the difference between a wagon and a hatchback?

So......

Hatchback = 2 door with enough room for junk in the trunk

Wagon = 2 door with enough room for junk in the trunk

??? Right? Wrong?
