Girls, do you ever get irritated when your s/o TEXTS you instead of just calling you?

Like if he texts more than he calls you... are you like "Gosh why doesnt he just call me?!"

Or do you not care whether he calls or texts you

texts are a lot easier sometimes if you're just sending little messages and keeping in touch and stuff
but if its afterschool or something and we're both not busy or anything, i'd really prefer a call
texting to keep up a conversation is a pain in the ass

Nope, I text my boyfriend all the time and that is because it is easier and convenient for me. I am always doing something and if we talk, I sound like I get distract which might cause problems between us...
so we usually just text during the days and once in a while during the night, either one of us text to see if they're free and end up calling to talk.

texting is the most annoying thing ever seriously....especially for useless messages
i hate SMS so bad and never answer back unless it's something important only when i can't call, or only to answer/ask questions to a friend when I can't talk

and like someone posted, it does costs 15 cents per msg so that racks up pretty quickly if you dont have a plan!

I hate text messaging always in general. To leave a message fine, but there's no more inconvenient, slow, and easily mistakable way. If someone texts me, I ignore or say "CALL NEXT TIME."

A 1 min call can sum up 20 text messages in 1/20th the time....

i like texting, but not for full blown conversations. even if i had an unlimited plan, i don't want to be writing essays through text. i hate talking on the phone, so i'd rather have long conversations face to face or on msn/aim/etc.

I like talking on the phone more than texting, if it's just a short msg, that doesn't need a long conversation then sure.
But I hate "Haha" texts! for cereal wth! people seem to do that a lot when they have nothing to say and want to reply back.
I just end up not replying
I hardly ever say "bye" on texts, I just don't reply.
