haha many people have speculated that it was him long time ago. If you look at the site company that he works at, they coorperate with Top Gear on many of the scenes. I wonder what will happen with him now.

People say The Stig is never really the same person all the time. Of course that's just a rumor, but maybe Collins wasn't the Stig at that time. Or, Jeremy and friends put Collins on as a guest driver to throw off speculation that he's the Stig.

They have had collins on the show many times. The parachute landing one, the off-road skateboarders and many episodes which required a hard stunt to be performed. Sounds like the stig there . Collins is a stunt-driver as well so that plays a huge role.

Ben Collins has officially come out to reveal that he is the white Stig, which he revealed in his autobiography that is currently being published. Top Gear is currently trying to block publication of Collins' book.

The 35-year-old, who has performed as a James Bond stunt double, was also “outed” as the Stig in 2009, when a builder, Jason Goody, claimed to have come across his famous white suit and gloves on display in a cabinet while working in his home.
Simon Whitehead, a Bristol gallery owner, later claimed that Mr Collins had identified himself as the mystery driver and asked if an artist could help produce a limited-edition print of him in action.
The current “white” Stig took on the role in 2003 after the original “black” Stig, the racing driver Perry McCarthy, outed himself in an autobiography called Flat Out, Flat Broke.

I think this time for real, Top Gear's going to have a new colored Stig.
