So a week ago I was watching tv and a Special K cereal commerical came on with the whole "Special K Challenge." It seemed simple enough. You substitute two meals a day with any Special K product and eat the third meal normally and you can lose up to 6 pounds in two weeks. So I thought, "What the heck, I'll give it a try! I want to get rid of a few pounds anyways." And the cinnamon and honey tea that was posted in here didn't work for me..
The thing that made this easier for me was the fact that I'm always in a grab and go mode this quarter since all my classes are pretty much in a row with not much break time. So just as long as it was quick, easy, and fulfilling it was perfect.
I've been on this challenge for about 3 days now and so far I have lost two pounds. I'm pretty satisfied with the results so far and I'll post my final weight loss at the end of two weeks. Exercise wise, the only work out i get is walking all around campus and using the eliptical machine for half and hour three times a week, so I'm not doing an incredibly intense workout. But anyways, I'm just curious if anyone has done this and what they think
I didn't have to change my eating plan TOO drastically. I barely eat breakfast because I always wake up late, but this made me eat breakfast so that was good for me. I also cut out junk food but I can still enjoy a yummy meal everyday. So to me, this plan has been nothing but helpful so far! If any of you guys have questions on what I ate( such as portion wise) or anything else that I can maybe try to answer feel free to leave a comment

*edit*
i definitely know that this isn't some "miracle diet" because there really is no such thing. I havent really stuck to the plan lately but I have decreased my calorie intake and working out which is helping me see a difference in my weight.
I guess the thing about this I liked is that it helped me take those first steps in lowering my calorie intake and I actually like how the stuff tastes. You know when you lose a few pounds and you get pretty excited? This gave me that little excitement and boost. I don't think I'll follow this that much anymore; i don't think i need to. I think all along I was just looking for some sort of method that would at least jump start my diet.
I still eat what I want to, but in moderations and workout alot more! So to all of you guys who said this isn't a long term thing, you guys are definitely right! I think if anyone needs that little boost to jump start your diet then it's a nice start. However, follow everyone's comments below in suggesting just to eat healthier and work out more.
Thanks for stopping by and reading and wish me luck on my weight loss!
