This is the official thread for the group Fair Eves. We consist of myself, Kihn, and Calista. The three of us began working together in November of 2008. It was then we began practicing for our debut performance of an English version of Love in the Ice by Tohoshinki, at the Holiday Show at our school.

I will also be adding Calista and possibly Kihn's solo releases to this thread, until they decide to start posting threads up themselves. xDD

Kihn

Real Name: Chandler Rae Woods
Birthday: July 15th, 1993
Genre: Alternative music and mid tempo songs (I guess)
Musical Influences: My sister and Ariah`
Hobbies: Reading/writing, singing and theater, cooking, and watching movies. I also like to dress up.

Calista

Real Name: Albany Victoria Escobar Colmenarez
Birthday: July 23, 1994
Genre: Ballad
Musical Influences: All the times that my mom kept singing around the house, when she would clean or just cause it was habit.
Hobbies: I love to sing along to songs I love and then get better at them. Write stories and poems, watch movies. And get randomly dressed up at night.

minnilu: My audition went really well, actually! =D I could tell they were really happy that I sang for them, too, after I played my violin. Of course, they were both violin people and knew, like, nothing about singing. =X But that's okay! XDDD

You guys sound good. There were some parts where your voices where really strong, and other parts where you guys sing the high part like smoothly with nice vibratos. I cant wait to hear more stuff from you guys. =]

I'm glad you enjoyed those hard parts, because, to be honest, we (or maybe just me, LOL) were a little bit nervous about it, since it's just...in a weird range if you bring it up an octave like we did. But then, singing it in the same octave that they do in the original would be impossible to do live, so we had no choice.
But I'm glad we did, because it gives the song that feminine element that I thought suited us well. =D

TheFirstTime: I love hearing songs covered in English, especially if the lyrics are smoothly written so that the song flows. Sometimes that's tough to do, though. Make the melody smooth, anyway, with English lyrics.
But it worked well, in this case. =D
