recently i bought a computer for 2600 and the funny thing it doesnt even come with a dvd rom !!!! and my frens were telling that i got ripped off because they dont think the computer worth 2.6 grand but thing is it doesnt matter how much it worth what matter is how much u paid for it right

because when people ask you about your computer its not like u gonna tell them OH IT HAS 2.4 etc. they are just gonna ask how much?

Well my friends never ask me how much my computer costs. They only ask how big is the hard drive what the proccessing speed, RAM, graphic and everything else. lol if they do only ask how much it cost they're probably computer illiterate.

Gosh, 2.6k is a lot of money for a computer. But the price itself doesn't really tell us much if you don't give us the setup of your new computer. For that price I'd expect at least something like a Core 2 Extreme, a graphics card with 2 GPUs, 4GB RAM minimum, 1TB hard drive and a Blu-ray drive. That is, if the currency is in €.

If you can buy EXACTLY the same item for a cheaper price, doesn't mean yours is better because you paid a higher price. It's the same item. For example, let's say you bought a crap computer. If you paid a high price for the crap computer, it's still crap.

2.6K is not worth it. My laptop was about $700 (or was it 600, I can't remember) and it works just fine. With a computer at your price that doesn't have to ability to play DVDs is a rip-off. Just the price is a big turn off to me.

Honestly, people care more about the specs than the price tag that was on it (as you can see from the previous posts above). I wouldn't care that you paid more money for a computer if it was crappier and doesn't run as efficiently than my own.

I hope you know that just because you paid a lot for it, doesn't means it's good. Can you tell us the specs? If you can't then you're stupid because you didn't even know what you were paying for. I could honestly imagine you adopting a child when you're older and not knowing whether or not its gonna turn out to be black white asian hispanic boy girl (or both?) with down syndrome, SARS and a third eye when they arrive at your door step.
