Hey folks.
This semester, I'm taking a Deviance sociology class. Seeing that it has only been two class days so far, I'm quite liking it so far.
We have an assignment were we have to a "deviant act or engage in some form of deviant behavior" in public. It must not violate laws and put individuals in any sort of danger.
a deviant behavior is a behavior that is consider out of the norm; a behavior that some or many people find to be offensive, disapproving of, or in other words generally can be say to be "weird"
So, I'm wondering if anyone can give me some more example of deviant acts? I'm trying to make a list and see if I can encourage myself to act in such a manner. I don't like drawing attention to myself, but now that I have too, i need some help.
I thought of:
-walking backward for the whole day
-dressing inside-out for the day
-constant eye-staring
-nose-picking
anything else?
also....I'm wondering if anyone can list some subcultures you'd like to observe
