Haha, yeah, I was just about to suggest that. I'm also currently into playing Coldplay songs like "The Scientist" and "Violet Hill."

Are you looking for mainstream / pop songs, or anything? I've been playing piano for 12 years, so saying "piano music" is a bit too general to really help... you can send me a message if you'd like, I can see if I can help.

Here are a few that come to mind (in no particular order):

Chopin - Nocturne No. 1 in B-flat minor
Chopin - Etude Op. 10 - 12
Debussy - Clair de Lune
Erik Satie - Gymnopedia No 1
Yann Tiersen - Comptine D’un Autre été, L’Après-midi
Beethoven Piano Sonata No. 14 in C-Sharp Minor (“Moonlight Sonata”)

I don't know if this is what you're looking for but uhm, check out the Byousoku 5 centimeter (5cm per second) OST. It's an anime movie, but it has REALLY nice piano songs, such as 'One More Time, One More Chance' and 'Distant Everyday Memories'.

Yann Tiersen is an absolutely amazing modern composer. His best pieces are probably:

- Comptine d'un autre été
- La valse d'Amelie
- Le moulin
- La dispute

Another piece I enjoy playing is Dario Marianelli's "Dawn". It's incredibly beautiful. I would also recommend any and all Chopin and Debussy.

A more upbeat piece is Satie's "Je te veux" - a really lovely, French-style waltz.

the rain that has fallen since morning becomes music.
