i'm a freshmen. 14 years old turning 15 in march.
and, for a while i wanted to study business, well just to think that i'll have no problem with living.
like being a CEO was my priority and still is...but even a wealthy worker for a company is good.
but, it's just that i never realized how hard achieving that wuld be until a few months ago.
and now, i'm cool with just having a laid-back, being a good dad life. but i mean, if i CAN achieve it, i'll go for it.
right now, i have like a 4.2 GPA, and possibly a 4.6 after report cards come out.
and my school is ranked like 50th in the state of new jersey.
and, it's really easy. like i dont really get much HW. but wen i have to study i study.
but i'm not sure, if i can get into good business schools like
booth, stern, or wharton.. and not just getting in, but following along without transferring or dropping out..
i still wanna be a CEO, but i'm not a 100% sure. i mean i always wanted to play college football too, but it all depends since i'm a ffreshmen.
i just this topic out there since, there's a lot of courses to take at my school, and i'd rather do a lot of wat i wanna be in the future, then useless stuff like
woodshop, where i don't even wanna be a carpenter/engineer.

Not A 100% Sure What I Want To Study

Wow don't stress yourself out so much! You have plenty of time to decide what you want to do. Most people end up changing their majors and decide what they want to be during their freshmen and sophomore years. In COLLEGE. And even then, they can get a job after they graduate that had nothing to do with what they studied. Nobody knows 100% what they want to be in high school.
You're still a freshmen so experience all the classes that interest you. You never know, you might decide to take wood shop and fall in love with it.

Hehe my school is ranked around 50th in nation.
Ok, not related.
Don't worry so much, you're a freshman. Honestly, if you work to the no.1 rank of your school and have good extracurriculars, you could easily be a sweep in for a prestigious school. Why? Because those colleges are all into having a "diverse community" whatever stuff so they can boast they have people from all sorts.
And if you're not no.1, then just get good grades. Do activities that show your interest in business or entrepreneurship and show your passion to want to pursue a career in business. Schools are looking for reasons why they should want YOU out of every other person that also gets straight A's as well. You got to stand out and show leadership. :] I'm looking towards going to Wharton or Stern as well for accounting.
Oh and another important thing, don't do like 20 different activities/clubs each for like 5 days just to write all of them on your resume. Have a handful of activities that you really like to do and commit&stick with them for the next couple years.

honestly, I think there are very very few people who know exactly what they want to do. Especially since I'm a junior entering into 'the college process', I know this. Also, people change their mind about what they want to do. My mom was working in an art museum as a curator, then became a teacher, and then an editor, etc... My dad went into college planning to be a music major and came out a journalist. Now he works as the executive director of a fellowship program. Don't set a certain thing that you want to be and then change your life to fit into that. Have fun and do whatever interests you. From my own personal experience, I know that I had no idea of what I wanted to do or even what I was interested in until last year. Then, I discovered my love of Japan / Asia and photography. Now, I know that I like those things but I still have no idea what career I'll be able to make from that.
You're a freshman. CHILL.
(although, it's great that you are thinking about your future and stuff)

you are 14 years old. enjoy your high school experience. use this time to join different clubs, take a variety of classes to see if there is something that piques your interest.
most people don't even know what they want to study until their sophomore or junior year of college.
