im scared she gonna get hurt if i dont interfere
I have a friend who recieved a note from this boy in her class and they dont talk to each other. i dont want to sound too judging and mean but her description is that she is alright looking and acts nerdy sometimes. Last year she was super made fun of. sometimes she tends to piss people off. Were in high school and no one really sends letters in the middle of the year. Im worried its a fake. i wouldnt care if she didnt care but she kinda bragged about it . she had humungo smile on her face too.

situation at lunch:
her:i dont really want a boyfriend [smiles at my other friend]
other friend:ohhh that note
her:[shows me the note but not the insides]
me:let me see
her:no i cant[smiling, giggling]


note: she NEVER brings up anything about boys or boyfriends unless i talk about boys

i need advice on what i should do or say to her please and thank yous

It's understandable that you want to help her and prevent her from shedding tears,
but what if it IS real and someone really does like her?
I've seen tons of people that I thought would never ever ever get gfs/bfs but they have.
So don't let that "nerdiness" or "made-fun-of-ness" (lol) foll you (:

Also, think about her point of view. If you bring it up to her what would she think?
She would think that you think that she's not suitable for any guy to like her,
By confronting her and saying the letter is probably fake you're basically saying she's unattractive.
(Although you're not saying that, girls are melodramatic and will most likely take it the wrong way)

So basically I think you should think hard about what you say to her before you say it,
and don;t do anything unless, like the person above said, you have a lead,
or a real reason to believe that the letter is a fake.
So for now be happy for you friend (:
& if it really is a fake, dont say "I told you so" whether it's in your head or not
But I'm sure you won't, you seem like a good friend (:

Besides... it'd kind of seem bad in her point of view if you were to tell her "I think that note is fake."
Which in turn can translate to "Psh, who the hell would like you? It's obviously fake."
