Whenever I come home with bags from shopping my parents would ALWAYS go "You bought MORE stuff?! You don't even have any more room in your closet!" I'd always say it's a gift for a friend's birthday. LOL. Or I'd lie about the price of things. I'd say it was half off or something along those lines. And my mom would get off my back cause at least I got a "good deal" out of it. Sometimes if they see me wearing something new and they ask me about it, I just say "This? I bought this a long time ago. I've worn it hella times!" It shuts them up but I think they know I'm lying since they do my laundry sometimes. LOL.

Even though it's my money I'm spending, they still find ways to end up lecturing me about it. I feel it eases the pain a little bit for all of us. Haha

What about you guys? Do you do the same? Any tips on other suggestions so I could switch it up? HAHA.

LOL. I'm in the same position as you, but I can't even use the "It was on sale!" excuse anymore.
What I usually do now is bring a bag big enough to hide my purchases from the mall and throw away the shopping bags. xD;
And if my parents ask me if I bought anything, I would just say "No."

Amen. I tried stuffing a handbag in another handbag once... so I come home with a big bulging bag and my parents are like, "So did you buy anything?"

LMAO. I do that sometimes too if I get a big bag. But it just sparks the interest even more. WHAT could be in such a big bag? I'd still say it was on sale. LOL.

yeah i remember when i bought stuff that were over $70 i lied to my mom about the 1 cents sale on wet sale.

I'd buy a lot of stuff, hide some of the more flashier, expensive pieces in my bag and make the not-so-expensive prices be less expensive.

Oh and I get rid of the receipts too. xD

I always do that. xD Haha.
Whenever I go to the mall and buy books, video games, or t-shirts, I would always hide them in my bag.
Then, when my parents ask me if I bought anything, I would just say no.
They never notice the size of my bag increases, since it looks about the same size as it was when we leave the house.
And I make sure to get rid of the receipt. xDDD

I bought a Super Junior album and the photobook <3 When I went home, I tried hiding it in my bag but it didn't fit rofl, so I just walked quickly to my room. I hid it under my pillow xD Then my mom came in and asked me what I bought. I just told her I bought a CD and i only spent $20. She didn't know I spent $60 LOL. It's my money anyways

Hah, yes. I usually take a big tote when I go shopping so I can stuff things in there. When I come home, I tell my parents that I bought "just this sweater... that's all ".

I lie about the price sometimes~ But's its my own money, so they'll never find out.
Once i brought a t-shirt and my parents are like blah blah
I said it's for my friend's birthday and a month later they see it in my closet =.=
