I was thinking of moving up to a 16GB micro SD card since my phone doubles as my mp3 player and my current micro SD card holds backups of important documents I need. However, I read that Toshiba has already released a 32GB micro SD card, but I could find no information on picing or places where I could buy it.
It doesn't make sense for me to get the 16GB, if by say the end of this year I could get the 32GB for a reasonable price.
Has anyone come across the 32GB card? Does anyone have a 16GB micro SD card and think it was a worthwhile purchase?

in time, everything will probably get cheaper and cheaper. it all depends on what your needs are and if you need that kind of storage space. although, recently i stumbled on a good deal on a 8gb microsd @ newegg it was $14 with free shipping (:

i use my phone as my media player and almost all of my media are video files. Right now I have a 4GB card and it's almost at capacity. I can't fit everything on the card, so I have to rotate the songs and video I feel like using every few days. It's just getting to be a bit tedious. If I got the 8GB, I still wouldn't be able to hold everything. The 16GB could hold it all, but I wouln't have much space available to add new stuff.
The 16GB came out at the end of last year and supposedly the 32GB will be available late this year or early next year. Part of me wants to wait for the 32GB, but I still think it would take a while before prices on either the 16GB or 32GB became reasonable.

just checking, your phone can read SDHC compatible right? Cuz if it isn't, you won't be able to use a SD card more than 4GB.

^ yeah, a lot of phones can't read 16GB let alone 32 GB. 8 is the max.

I have the HTC Touch Pro and it's supposed to support up to a 32GB micro SD card.

Heya,
So far no luck finding anyone that sells a micro 32gb SD. I went ahead and just got the 16gb for my phone since I was able to snag it for $50. From the looks of the full size 32gb SD, the micro may debut at $200+, so it's definitely more worth your money to go for the 16gb and wait for the 32 to debut and drop its price a lot.
