I don't know how to treat it if it's bacterial. She said I needed antibiotics X_x
Also I tried things like..that chinese paste called "pei pa go" it's sorta sweet, and i've been mixing something healthy like those sugar cane drinks, and i've been drinking some water as well.
I do not wanna resort to salt water though..
Is there anything else I might be able to do? Thanks!

I resorted to seeing my doctor & he gave me medicine but
that only worked for the days I took it, then it was gone .
So my mom bought me "Sea Coconut"~ it taste like "pei pa go"
but it's not . It really helped . But you must take it religiously~
one big tablespoonful each 4 hours ! Hope it helps la !

My mom force me to use that too. XD
Anyway, other methods are to drink sour/salty drinks? I often drink salt water, cola and take those Vicks candies. Or something like that.

Keeping yourself warm allows your immune system to work more actively as it "dilutes" your blood increasing the flow. Keeping warm and using a humidifier is very helpful. That's why hospitals in Korea have warm humidifiers next to certain patients!

i peeled and grated some ginger. added one tablespoon of honey. then i poured boiling water over green tea leaves onto the mix. cool and drink.
the ginger + honey really helps. plus, it really warms you up!
i also drink grated ginger with honey when i have menstrual cramps because it makes me all warm inside. hope that helps.

And I know you don't want to, but salt water really helps in killing bacteria.
However, if it's a viral infection, you're just gonna have to wait it out. There's nothing you can really do about it.
