I'm trying to run away from home to China - what would I need to get to pass the airport here in Hawaii and over there?

I know I need some tickets and my passport (hopefully it isn't expired)

Do I need a visa or any other documents?

Thanks a lot!

And for those who are just going to ridicule me or talk me out of it, stay out of this thread please.

I just want to know what documents I need. I did not did anything wrong and on the run.

I SHALL ACCOMPLISH THIS.

Sorry dude.

But in answer to your question, you seem to have the basics. You can easily google the rest for visa requirements (if any). Look into getting the necessary shots and health requirements when going into a foreign country as well.

yeh.. only hk.. u need visa to get into mainland china and taiwan.

take no liquids or aresoles with u onto the plane

passport needs at least 6months validity for visa

visa can only last for a year i think.. and if u plan to go in and out make sure u get multiple entries into china.

you can go hk first and then get visa on the day.. would cost a lot tho.. i think was around HKD$600-1000

but ... china isnt exactly the best place to run away to...

first of all china you need a visa/entry thing everytime you go in and out for a visit. I needed it on both times i went to china, very strict there, not the sort of place you coudl just "run off" to without proper documentation. And the visa isnt an overnight thing.

Not sure about hk.. im sure you still need (irregardless of visa) a passport. so you need to make sure that isnt expired. that said you hardly seem to know anything about running away, so i cant expect you to have enough money to even make the trip?

Have you thought about what you're going to do? Where you're going to get the money once you get there? And if you somehow manage to get documentation to go into china as such can you speak chinese? Because I can't, even being Chinese, and it is sure as hell hard if not impossible to live a decent life there when 99% dont understand what you're talking. Hongkong will be better in terms of knowing some english, but yes if you cant speak cantonese or mandarin for HK you'll be wanting to run back to home very soon.
