having good connections is important in the real world. The People you know will make a difference. they can help you out ALOT.

always be optimistic. there is always an optimistic way of looking at things even if things seem terrible. for example, if you lost a job, you can look at it as an opportunity to find a better job instead of being depressed about being jobless.

yeah being sociable and having connections can really help, altho this is an area i fail at.

another thing is to always want to learn and be enthusiastic about what ur doing....

success is still an ambigous thing so it can be different for some people...

for me i think i will be successful as a man if i can get a good job, be intelligent and strong and still be a good guy that people like and respect

For me, a successful life is where I can honor my parents' last wish(es), ensure a nice life for a wife and kids, and have them feel proud of their Chinese heritage. Besides all that family stuff, a successful life personally (if I were single and hated my parents): learn Japanese, Chinese writing, Korean, Spanish, French, German, live in the big 3 East Asian countries (Japan, China, Korea) for at least 5 years total, tour Europe, drive across the United States and back, learn to cook, etc. etc. culture stuff.

Never hesitate to screw someone over if it benefits you. Take everything you can. It's all yours!! But remember, sharing is caring, so hog the wealth and share the blames

Thanks to you all for sharing your beatiful thoughts I also want to add a few things I do believe ..
someone said that if you falled once get up ..if you falled again get up again ..if you falled for the third time get up for the third time ..if you falled and falled and falled again & again & again get up every single time till you reach your point ..the meaning is :NEVER GIVE UP ..& learn how to correct your mistakes
I have some times that fearing from the future & know I should not be afraid it's quiet an obstical so what do you suggust?
