The issue with it would be the dilution of nutrient intake. You drink too much water, it accelerates your bodily processes, and will reduce the effectiveness of your nutrient intake. It's possible to get water poisoning by drinking too much water also... VERY dangerous! Interesting concept, but it's just too risky to me, plus it wouldn't be that healthy even in the ideal circumstances... getting rid of water weight in your body might be tough =P

:X Orrrr it could be because if you're drinking water all the time, your stomach feels full and you therefore do not eat as much. This is why some people recommend drinking a full glass of room temperature water before eating a meal.

It doesn't sound too healthy. I drink a lot of water and always go to the bathroom. No change.

I drink about a gallon and a half of water a day and pee all day. I lose about 4-5 lbs of water/food weight each morning. So yeah, in a sense, you can say your losing weight everyday but no lol.

drinking lots of water isn't really the effective way to lose weight.
i mean, water is good for you but not too much. you can pack on water when your exercising because your losing the electrolytes. but drinking gallons and gallons a day without getting the actual nutrition you need, isn't effective as eating right and exercising.

hahaha joke or not..i'd say its notta bad idea. cuz i seriously pee almost every 30 min cuz i have really fast metabolism and i dont gain weight at all.
my grandma told me if you pee after every meal, it helps in not gaining as much weight from the meal..but then again, it was my grandma..so dont quote me on that haha

i think you'd just loose temp. water weight. after all, its only losing the water you just drank.

Anything in excess is bad. You can die from drinking too much water.

So I want to share with you an idea I had. Which is the peeing diet. biggrin.gif

What you do is constantly drink water and lose weight by constantly running to the bath room and go pee.

By constantly I mean all the time.

Thus you exercise by: Drinking the water, running to the bathroom and pee.

Eh? What do you guys think?

P.S. don't take it too seriously, also it is meant to be a joke if you can't catch on. But, still a good idea though.

Just make sure if you do this to get your vitamins and minerals and eat healthy ~ this is just proper hydration described as an extreme.

Ahaha that's cute.

But there's actually something similar to this that does make you lose weight
laxatives.
don't suggest it though;
does bad stuff to your lower digestive system

(: Just saying

i dont get how it works T____T.
you're just water logging and then peeing. if anything you'd get hyponatraemia and die or you'd weigh the same.

I'm sorry, but this is the stupidest thing I've ever heard of.

Drinking tons of water is the best way to completely RUIN your kidneys.
Btw, those are needed to live.
They maintain your blood salinity, pH, hormones levels, vitamin levels, "electrolytes", etc.
Being even a fraction of a percent off can mean organ failure, shock, and death.

I'm guessing no one here has kidneys in such poor condition as to need weekly dialysis, but let me tell you, having your entire blood supply drained out of you, cleaned through a machine, then put back into you WEEKLY is not a fun thing.

BINGEING ON WATER CAN KILL YOU. Brain-swelling, cellular death by potassium/sodium loss, heart failure....

And as to being properly hydrated....
Most people are NOT dehydrated anyways... you'd know it if you were, b/c you'd be near death.

It's not funny at all. Keep jokes in the Jokes forum.
