I need to take Calculus 1 this coming summer. I am planning to take it at a community college. However, math is not my forte, so I was wondering if anyone can recommend me an easier community college in southern california to take my math class during the summer?

Chances are, if you find a different CC, the class will pretty much be the same (grades more or less depend on the instructor but material should be consistent).
You could opt to take an easier course before you start calc I, such as pre-calculus or business calculus (only if you are a business major, otherwise this class does you no good). but if you are on time restraints and need to take this class this particular summer, then take it, utilize your tutors and instructor well, and ask questions. Calc I isn't too bad especially if you already have experience in high school.
