By "relationship' i mean more to a "boyfriend, girlfriend" thing.
This research is for personal use.

The question is: How long do you think a relationship will last (in highschool)?

A week. (lol) I believe that is the average. I made a point to not date in high school. I actually swore it on the first week of 6th grade and my classmates wouldn't believe me. But I never did. (I'm in 12th now) It's not that I never had the chance to, but I just think dating in high school is pointless. Instead I made a lot of guy friends. I think it's lots of fun, better than being in a high school relationship. No one gets jealous and you don't have that awkward thing were the boy likes you and you don't like him or you date and break up thing going on. I'm very very VERY happy that I didn't date in high school. I know about 2 couples who have been together for a year and more. But they keep breaking it off and on. And the rest, in weeks. Some in months. But I still say the average is a week. I don't think it's necessary to shackle yourself at this age. You're still a kid! Meet people for fun!

Anyways, that's what I think. =)

depends on the 2 people at hand, honestly they can last from 2 weeks to 3 years (I know a couple that is around 3 years). But rarely that long.. "Long" in high school-terms is like 1-2 years. People change a lot throughout their high school years (at least from my observations).
