so for ap stats,

I have an 89, and literally if she fixes one hw assignment grade + gives me back 2 test questions, i'd have an A.
The thing is, for stats in the free response, her grading is SO subjective.

i.e. if the question asks for spread, and you write "the standard deviation is 3.2", she'll DOCK you even though standard deviation is a measure for spread.

The problem is that the teacher is very very unreasonable and incredibly stubborn. She also doesn't like me, which I know for a fact.

So the question is,
do i argue with her until i get the points back or do i just take the B

I already have 2 other B's, so I'm afraid this will really really hurt my chances for college.

She also threatened me with a referral if I talk to the counselor or the vice principal.

HELP ME PLEASE!!

Well, I don't see anything wrong with that since she's probably grading your paper like a person from AP would.
I would say keep the B since AP credits are worth more than regular class credits besides colleges mainly look at whether you passed the exam or not.

But I have to say that the fact that she threatened you to write you up with a referral if you talked to someone sounds a bit fishy.
If it bugs you that bad to get that A then go discuss it with a guidance counselor.

Wow what kind of educator threatens a student for talking to a higher official about a grade?

On one hand, a B is not bad, especially considering it was an AP course. Plus, you can always do well on the AP exam and show that you do indeed understand statistics.

On the other hand, that B is really close to an A. If it were me, I'd go talk to the teacher and if that didn't work, talk to a counselor. And mention the threat if I had to.
