Those Toilet Paper Commercials? Are they really necessary?I

I know companies make commercials to try and increase sales and everything but for toilet paper...really???

I just need something to wipe my butt or clean my hands after doing stuff...

I think these commercials are a waste of 30 seconds

most ppl dont really care..
they'll just get the cheapest one and just go home and use it...
but i think out there they are some health concious ppl who actually do care?

Well, I do buy the cheapest brand no matter what...

but if I weren't so cheap, and if I cared more about comfort, I'm betting the Cottonelle puppy and Charmin bears would hold some sway over me. :-) I know all about advertising and why we shouldn't be so easily swayed by it, but puppies and bears... c'monnn

at the very least, they make you appreciate soft toilet paper than you would have without them.

There used to be this really weird toilet paper ad recently.
It was about a man who was raised by wolves in the woods since he went missing as a child, and when he came back to his home, everything had changed and was unfamiliar to him, and when he went to the toilet, he saw the roll of tp next to the toilet, then he unrolled some and... was touching it while smiling and with his eyes closed.
The first time I saw the ad, I was like "WTF?"

HAHAH yea i see a LOT of them recently..even in magazines..they have like..fashionable toiletpaper ads. i have no idea why...its def a necessity

Are pad and tampon commercials really necessary?
