I originally really wanted the Softbank 920SC but it's way out of my price range.
So basically I'm just looking for a phone that's
-White (Available in White colour!)
-Sliding Phone or Flip Phone
-Around $300 (Not over $500!)
-Good Battery Life
-Oh and preferably one that not a lot of people have, heh.
I don't really need anything fancy like a QWERTY keyboard.

OH. And I'm also living in Canada, on FIDO and I'm planning to purchase the phone online from cellswholesale.com (=

the ice cream looks cute, but i'd get the w910i because it probably has a lot of better features than the other phones.

i had the samsung phone for 2 years before the screen blanked out.
it's pretty durable; you don't know how many times i've dropped it LOL xD
it's an okaaay phone. the battery lasts reeeeallly long too.
the only person now that has that phone that i know is my mom LOL.

the sony ericsson does look nice. the screen looks big and nice xD
i wouldn't get it for myself though .. i don't like slider phones anymore hahah.

the phone i would get is probably the ice cream. it's so pretty *___*
but i think i'm gonna wait for the ice cream 2 to be unlocked, since it has 3G, and will probably work better with the carriers in the US [:

Aw, but that's the thing...I want a phone that no one really has around here.
But I think you might be talking about this one that everyone has? The Sony Ericsson W580i.


The Sony Ericsson W910i just looks quite similar to it.

I'm surprised you would want to get the Samsung D807, because it's not really an eyecatcher. If you want to put charms on your phone the Samsung is not for you! and the T9 isn't that well either and the message box doesnt hold alot AND the camera is really crappy. And if you're a texter, the batteric runs out fast.

I have the W910i and it's alright. Out of all your choices, I suggest you go for it.

I have the ice cream phone, AND on fido. and it's THE cutest phone ever. I got it for 250.
It works quite well. The battery might be a little short, but i don't talk too often, and when i do, it's usually at home so if it runs out, I can charge it soon. I also get good connection, but that might be my location.
the LCD is realllyyyy cute and you can use your MP3's as ring tones.
the screen, I thought was alittle small, but the white boarder thing kinda made it look smaller, as I had compared it to my friend's LG chocolate, and it was relatively larger. Not by a lot, maybe a cm or so.

My friend has the SE....She say's it really crappy...=.=;
but i wouldn't know...she doesn't let me touch it since it's her replacement phone.

bottom line is, I say go for the ice cream. since you want a phone NO one has, then you want something eye catching.

For 250 online? Or did you buy it in a store?

Do you live in Canada by the way?

I really want to! I'm just worried about it freezing on me and then having to spend more money to send it back to the manufacturer and get it repaired. =/

I have the w910 (have had it since around March 2008, I think haha) and it does freeze up ocassionally. It also shuts down sometimes when I close the slider too hard. However, I think it's because I have one of the older shipments -- this is a common problem among w910s and it has supposedly been addressed, so if you get a w910 now (from one of the newer shipments, although really I don't know how you'd be able to guarantee when your phone was stocked at wherever you are getting it from) it shouldn't give you problems.

I was absolutely delighted with this phone, though, when I first got it, and even now I am fond of it haha. The sound quality isn't the best, and I kiiiiind of think it's a let down as a music phone. The camera is also really not all that good. I would almost recommend looking at other SEs, but.. yeah. ^^;;;
