are you guys enjoying this so far? i'm assuming the ratings are doing pretty good if it's beating jiangsu tv (go jiangsu tv too though! im from there, lol)?

i think i may just pick this up b/c i adore hunan tv to no ends. i went back to china this summer and all i watched was hunan tv, lol. it's a pity i had to leave before this started airing.

Hunan TV is so much better than Jiangsu at advertising and promoting. Jiangsu, like SMG, seems to be more intent on being "high-class" than being entertaining

just like how Super Girls main competitor was "Absolutely Singing" from Jiangsu...except "Absolute Singing" isn't even close to Super Girls' ratings, even if it airs at peak time and has a bunch of famous people going on it every week.

but then, Jiangsu did come out with "Soldier Sortie," which was really good. so this could be good, too. I'm a bit suspicious of anything that markets itself as a comedy, though, because that often means it has a very loose central plotline.

If you love hunan tv, you'll love this. It's very typically Hunan - entertaining, cute, clever, and fun.

Never mind. Ai Qing Gong Yu shouldn't be compared to Meteor Shower or even Ugly Wudi. It has a laugh track, which means it's a sitcom like BOBO's Nonstop btw what happened to that?.

I feel like the Hunan haters were grabbing for anything to compare to, to get people to stop watching Meteor Shower. Yeah, that's not going to work...the comments for Meteor Shower on Chinese websites are getting better and better. But at the same time it's too bad because the main guy of Ai Qing Gong Yu is super cute imo, he shows up in the first episode in a priest outfit for some reason!

So apparently Jiangsu TV's Ai Qing Gong Yu (English = ipartment) is the main competition of Meteor Shower because it's the same demographic and both are semi-romantic comedies series. It stars four guys too, and three girls. Most of the Hunan TV haters are telling people to go watch this. It's getting good reviews but doesn't seem like it's making much of a difference in its ratings...poor Jiangsu TV. Guy in glasses on the bottom of the poster is Wang Chuanjun...just for him I wish it'd do well.


I think it's slower paced though...since it actually has seasons. It's probably more like Ugly Wudi.

I don't understand it... how does Hunan T cut the episodes? I always watch the 2 episodes, but when I begin the second, I always feel that there are some scenes missing...
I have just seen the episode 12 and there are a lot of scenes missing, what happened before Yuxun "broken" her leg?

Before I watched this drama all the guys just seemed "ehh" to me but after watching the drama I am wowed.
I think the guy who plays Yunhai is really cute, his pictures don't do him justice. The acting is really good, but the
dubs sometimes ruins the emotion of the scene.

aw man! in a way, i didn't want duanmu to come in between yunhai and yuxun. it was going soo well, you can tell that she's starting to like him. i can't wait for saturday now. i so was to see ep.13 and 14. ah! it's getting good!

btw, anyone has the megaupload for ep.11 and 12? i love those episodes.

Episode 11 and 12 were SO good...especially episode 12 when they spent time on the island....SO ADORABLE. They're such a cute couple...I don't want to watch the next few episodes when Duan Mu comes back and ruins everything. -____-
