Yunhai was the one who shredded her paper. And he also asked her to not leave.
As with the money...his was more direct, but he's not as "naturally sweet" as Duanmu, who has a natural flair for winning a girl's heart.
Anyways, there was a beautiful scene in Tiny Times when one of the male leads give one of the female leads money to buy a cellphone because she lost her old one, and she felt indignified and threw it at him (even though she had expected him to buy her a new cellphone...but receiving money was too blunt for her) Soon after, she goes downstairs and sees a couple fighting because the male could not provide for the family ( I think...either way it was an argument about money). She is touched and runs back to him with food (lol). They make up.
The scene switches to him in his dorms after she leaves, eating the only food he's eaten in a few days. It turns out that the money was all he had, because his mother had cut off his money source for dating her.
Except when Guo Jingming wrote it, it was so much more romantic and sad at the same time.
holy moly, 8 new pages, i literally read all 8 pages. you guys are amazing, i love the spoilers and predictions, it gets me all hyped up.
i'm still on 17, but i'm almost done, then i'm heading straight for 18, so that i could enjoy 19 and 20 tonight.
i think what makes this show good, is that there's a lot of twist and turns in the story that makes the audience think about. it makes us happy and giggle like little fan girls, but then there are moments where we are angry and want to beat our own heads. the drama is sometime unpredictable, and we don't know exactly how its going to conclude in each ep. not like some dramas where we have our eyes glue to the screen and laugh at each moment and not really look deeper into the storyline. i think that's why MS for me is really good, because the storyline has positive and negative points to attract the audience, it gets them hooked. if all drama storylines were good, there won't be negative points to help improve the drama. sorry if that didn't make too much sense. i guess the bottom line i'm trying to say is that MS's storyline is pretty well written so far.
how come i didn't know shang guan had a gf? and her name is lisa? i wonder what will happen to him and xiao yu.
wow...reading your description was quite enlightening for me. Meteor Shower is like Hunan TV!
anyways, one of my favorite quotes about Hunan TV from anonymous poster on baidu tieba:
QUOTE
Hunan TV is like the winner in love in terms of TV stations. He makes you love him, he makes you hate him, he makes you laugh and smile, he makes you frustrated and yell. Yet in the end, you go through everything with him and you can't live without him.
