I was a bit wtf at the recent "netizen comment" posted with the article about GDragon's plagiarism that someone brought to my attention...

Coupled at my annoyance at refinding internationalpirate (hoistdacolors and lifelikelemons know who I'm talking about) making generalizations about C-series like there's no tomorrow....bc of Meteor Shower


I just want Chinese people here to never, ever make prejudiced generalizations about another race or culture despite China's entertainment scene growing. Please...

but as a fan of him, I'm annoyed of how biased some Big Bang/GD fans are. The topic 'plagiarism' is a sensitive subject especially at Soompi. After seeing some comments at Youtube, I was speechless by the number of fans that 'spoke' on behalf of GD. Music is sure an awesome thing, isn't it?

I know for certain that Chinese entertainment will get big quickly in the future, because that's how it's developing...just like Korea developed ten years ago. May I ask what sort of generalizations this person has been making about C-series?

To be honest, I'm a little ambivalent about this stuff. If you look on the tiebas, there you see that some people criticize other people about things like, "You guys who 'love' the Korean version are a shame to us. Where's your patriotism?" It makes people who point out errors / things for improvement in this series look like country haters. Others take the extreme route and go all-out criticism on the series...

This isn't like a patriotism issue. If I'm criticizing, I shouldn't go all-out flaming others, but criticism is necessary for improvement, no?

As for the people that are making stupid racist comments, there are plenty of things that will shut them up for good. Don't sweat over it and don't get angry over it, because it'll only make them feel more accomplished.
