it feels like it's a consolation prize or something since I know they are not gonna end up together in the drama.
edit:
about 8 minutes of new footage. everything from the 1st episode script is coming true.

Just wanna say...ZHANG HAN IS EFFING BAD ASS IN THE SECOND VID. and lead actress can kick my ass too.
I posted another link over at the other thread over at the other celeb photo forum which included a scene not on those two videos.

WARNING SPOILERS. some new plot line I read and saw:
older sister asked "Makino" to tutor "Tsukasa" because she was very bright student
"Shizuka" is a music substitute teacher at the school.
Evil mom forced "Tsubaki" to go to a match making dinner, "Akira" comes to the rescue and drags her to the playground.

the actors definitely look cuter on screen than most of the photoshoot pictures that i've seen (particularly yunhai) and the girl really looks cute. from the previews, it seems like the acting is pretty good too (at least it already looks better than the korean version's acting). the scenes look pretty cute and romantic and really does look like they put a lot of effort into it with the set and all (hot air balloon?!). the actors look really young though. younger than they do in pictures and probably younger than their actual ages. either way, though, i suppose they're aiming for a youthful feel anyways so maybe it'll be good. i feel like the two main leads already have good chemistry from the bits of interactions i saw in the previews.
anyways, can't say anything for sure until i see it, but i have a good feeling about this (:
is anyone going to upload it as it airs somewhere online? I don't have my chinese tv anymore D:

Seriously I'm sick of all the Hana Yori Dango remakes.
I think the Japanese one and the Korean one was the best, since the Japanese one was the original and the funniest and the Korean had good camera quality and was actually interesting to watch like the Japanese one even though Goo Hye Sun's was annoying but cute.
But enough of me bashing this drama. I guess I'll give it a try because you can't judge a book by a cover.
I hope it doesn't suck like Meteor Garden. Seriously that version in my opinion SUCKED.

HAHAHAHAHA. (It's nothing about your comment or you in particular.) I just find it hilarious that there's such a dichotomy of reactions to HYD. People want remakes; people don't want remakes. People are tired of the storyline; People want the same storyline. It's like people who are hanadan fans are bipolar or something. I am just glad that there's still an interest to this drama after so much national and international bad press.
Come this August, let's all get crazy again.
Yeah Yun Hai and her look good together.

idarklight and I were going to wait until better versions of those trailers come out to put it on youtube though. Maybe they won't come out.
But they're not from a fanmeet. They're from Happy Camp, a Chinese variety show. The cast is going on two of Hunan TV's own shows, Happy Camp and Behind the Story. Happy Camp is really funny and Behind the Story is more serious, but also mixed in with fun moments, which will definitely be the case here judging from the clips I've seen of it so far.
I'm glad that the first episode script was real (since you seemed to like it so much). I think it may have been purposely leaked on the internet for those who cared enough, to assure everyone that this was not the same old Hana Yori Dango. You make me want to read the script, but I don't know if I want to be spoiled.
I feel like people got turned off that by superficial aspects, but it was overall okay. I ended up skimming through it bc I bought the series in China and while the acting is rough around the edges, at least Barbie Hsu fit Shan Chai, and Jerry Yan and Vic Zhou fit their characters as well. Whereas the Korean version seemed to go slightly off the rails from the beginning with characterization. I only saw the first few episodes of it, but since most people say it tanked in the second half, when characterization was thrown out the window, I'd say my impression is a mild assessment compared to others.

version of BOF. lol. Although the boys look really young
and all; I find them adorable! lol. And the main girl is
pretty.
I also really like their uniforms. lol. I think I'm like the only
one. xD It looks unique~ but it doesn't really look like a
school uniform at all.

idk if this picture was posted

i thought it looked cute. especially teh guy in the red hair... who i actually can't identify because he looks so different from the promotional pictures where everyone is pretty much ugly. can someone tell me who it is? i think it's the guy that all the chinese fans are obsessing over calling him the best looking one in the group... better than the male lead. which i think is weird cuz other than yu haoming and zhang han, i personally think the other guys look less than decent from the official pictures...
and behbeh

and for those who enjoyed the kiss ;]

all credits to the drama's baidu bar.

The four of them singing together makes me think they're gonna end up as a band like F4 or something... they sound pretty good if it really is "live"

Anyways heres another MV song for the drama sung by Zheng Shuang and Yu Haoming. Getting me use to the idea of a"Tsukushi-Rui" pairing.

People who want to watch the drama when it comes out could go on Cfanboys2 youtube channel since I think they're gonna sub it when it comes out in August?
I noticed they've also got some current cdramas which are more "ídol-ish" uploaded. There's a drama there called Always smile which is produced by Hunan tv so maybe it might give us an idea on the sort of drama Meteor Shower's gonna be?
