didn't really have any plans to watch this maybe because i have never seen a mainland china series..but whatta heck..i actually loved it...it's frustrating sometimes--but im used to it after watching all the versions of hyd..but it's worth the frustration seeing your fave couple finally get together..the girl is really pretty..she's like a combination of rainie/ariel/horikita maki...and main lead guy--the hair is kinda crazy but you will eventually fall for his sweet smile..awwww i just wish to be a teenager again hahaha!

Zhang Han plays the domyouji character well. But I don't think he can be entirely mean/violent ..like domyouji's tendencies. I think it's cause even when he DOES get mean/violent ...it can't completely come off as that.. I think it's cause of the way he looks. he's just ..too adorable and soft looking ? idk LOL D: SO CUTE <3

So ..I'm still in the process of watching the drama and I'm *really* loving it ..but there's this one thing in the drama that I do not like AT ALL. I hate that Yu Xun is ripping apart the boys' friendships. Yes it happens in all the other versions as is aposed to happen, but in this one .. it doesn't seem like Duan Mu cares about his friendship with Yun Hai at all =/ it really pisses me off x: Like how he said that the only reason why he's breaking up with Yu Xun is b/c he knows she likes Yun Hai (basically, he knows he has no chance so he'd rather let her go and make her happy). But in the other versions, he's aware the girl likes his best friend so he lets her go and continues to support her while she struggles with her like/dislike for the main guy (and struggling with the mom's evil interventions). BUT he also lets her go because he values the friendship he has with the main guy, than his love/like for the girl. But in this version he just straight up goes "I'm only doing it for her happiness, if you hurt her give her back to me" ..talking about her as if she's an object and iono.. I just feel like they put her too much on a high pedestal and the fact that he doesn't give a thought to what happens to his & yun hai's friendship really peeves me.

^ But the way you put it (& the way it is in the drama), I see it as Duanmu's character's problem, not Yuxun. But yeah the Domyouji character in this version isn't so mean/violent like in the other versions.. he's much more adorable and human-like and.. well, three-dimensional. It's more of that Yunhai has a bad temper and big ego rather than that he's a big fat jerk lol. (Did that make sense?)


Oooh finally, some pics of the cast at that celebration event the other day. Zheng Shuang was there!! Ahh where has she been.



They all looked great!! Except well.. Zhu Zixiao looks kinda......... lol.

It just said "eeMedia Thank You event" Thank who? for what? Only Wang Zhixin, Liu Meihan, Zhang Youfang and Li Xiaoyun (with Su Xing!) were there, though. I didn't see pictures of the other girls. An Youqi was there, too.

Zhang Han's voice is soo soft. (Wow what would it be like to see Yunhai with his voice?) And I really think that's the only time (that we've seen so far) our dear Zheng Shuang actually put 100% into a scene reenactment. XD
