I would like to say that that's not true. It's not that Asian girls are too skinny, but the other people are too chubby. I'm worried that with the popularity of fastfood and increased GDP, Chinese people will become super overweight, too.
er, i disagree, lol. when i walk out into the street, i dont see fat / obese / chubby people lol. i see either skinny or fit people. Asians are generally petite, therefore they are skinnier than people in the west, who are generally big-boned.
i didn't think that Zheng Shuang is too skinny though, lol. she looks normal.

Lol, not everyone in china is "skinny". Take Gao Xiaosong for example.

(HAHAHA)
Gao Xiaosong lives in the US. Which also explains why he makes such idiotic statements and generalizations about Chinese music.
I would say Zheng Shuang is fine. I'm about the same size, just an inch or so shorter.
I rag on Asian girls for being skinny too, but honestly Japanese are the skinniest, and they have the longest longevity. I really don't think America's average size is healthy. And Americans seem to be more toned than their counterparts elsewhere, but toned doesn't necessarily mean healthy or fit. It just means they do toning exercises and not the harder ones that actually burn off their fat.
That being said, I do think everyone is built differently, and one person's healthiest weight is not another person's. People will look unattractive and sickly if too much under or over their own "normal" weight.

I think they were competing on who will score higher on the next exam. The handprint is that of one of the valedictorians of the school (he's the ex-bf of Yunduo). Yunhai was praying on the handprint and hoping that Yuxun breaks both her legs so she won't be able to take the test. Yuxun was probably passing by and screamed out his name for saying such mean things.

i think im beginning to see how this drama is going to be different from hana yori dango... it's like the murong yunhai is completely separate from the other three in the beginning and are actually enemies. and then they becomes friends (i assume?) and cause havoc together and yuxun hates them for disrupting the school and yada yada. i think the idea changed in the most basic sense with their relationships to each other... i think its actually going to be pretty different :] maybe they just called it hana yori dango to get publicity because of the minor similarities??

OTP=one true pair
@cfensi
I still support the pig-feeding group. XD They were voted best buddies by H4&Xun. Their nickname in the drama is "once a brother..." because they're always in scenes with the other two "brothers," except they never do anything except for stand around in those scenes....T_T

i'm totally in love with the song by Wei Chen right now. '疯人愿', the one in the background in his trailer.
i can't wait until a longer version comes out.
the themesong MV isn't too exciting, but it's still cute.. and very idol-like i guess

Thanks ^^.
And yeah, this drama is actually starting to seem less and less like Hana Yori Dango. It still has a few similarities, but those features aren't exactly unexpected when you think about the fact that this appears to be an idol drama.
I read somewhere that Yunduo is going to ask Yuxun to tutor Yunhai. Is this true? Because the idea doesn't sound half bad xD.
I'm still curious as to how people find out these little facts though... >> <<

Wei Chen, Xiao Han and Ren Silu all have that song as their theme song on their blogs. It was written by Lu Hu, who's also in this drama. I think he's playing a gay character? For some reason, Lu Hu's always gay in movie/dramas. I wonder if he's still in love with Yu Haoming.
Lu Hu also wrote Zhang Han's solo song in this OST. Lucky Zhang Han.
but...yeah...that song isn't for the drama. It was for a play that Wei Chen was in (the one that he acted out with Zhu Zixiao). I wish that was in this drama, because this song is so much more catchier than the current one that Wei Chen has. It's such an under-promoted good song. I think it's Wei Chen and Lu Hu's best song yet, but the least famous of them.
You can listen to the full version here and download it here.
Oh, and in some recent Shiny Red Star promotions, Yu Haoming called Wei Chen to invite him to go Karaoke as a "test of friendship"..it wasn't that interesting. Wei Chen sounded super tired. They should've asked Yu Haoming to ask Wei Chen to donate a kidney or something.
Lu Hu also called Allen Su Xing. That was far more entertaining.
"What's up? Who is this?"
"Hu-zi."
"Hey, what's up tiger?"
"I was looking on your tieba and saw you had a new single out called "China, China."
"Why would you look at my tieba on the internet when you could've been looking at beautiful girls?"
".....you should be careful about what you say, my friends are listening."
"Oh, are you surrounded by beautiful girls?"
"...umm, Wang Yuexin and Zhang Jie and a bunch of us want you to come to sing karaoke with us."
"Dude, you guys are the future of China's music and you want to waste your voices singing karaoke with me?"
Remind me again why Su Xing's not a TV show host?
