1st ep is about an hour long, and 2nd ep is about 40 mins long every night.

Ah, that makes sense ^^. Thanks Atic. I was wondering why the second episode was twenty minutes shorter than the first ^^. So do they air them right after each other, or with a break in between?

I subbed the 2nd Episode. And that's the last one I am going to do for awhile. I need some time for my other stuff. It's hardsubbed. It's about 300 mb. (I don't know why virtualdub compressed it so much.) The quality is actually good though.

Oh bummer...do you know when you are going to sub the next ones? If it's a while, I'll space it out the posts I make at LJ.

So far it's been a pretty good response from the LJ community I uploaded it at.

I think the Chinese people are very critical because this is like the first idol drama. I have a feeling they're comparing idol drams from Taiwan/Japan/and Korea.

They're critical because many are hateful towards Hunan TV. This is a good drama, even if you compare. So far here, the pace is great, the script is great, and everyone has chemistry. Chinese netizens were scornful of it already, not that the purposely bad early promotion pictures of the four boys helped any, and most of the articles written were taking netizen quotes from before the series aired.

It doesn't really matter because this is has already gotten #1 ratings. Hunan TV always gets the ratings, even if people mock them. Success causes jealousy. I don't understand why, they help other stations. When My Hero was airing they sent Long Danni to help Dragon TV with it.

Give it a while, once this series progresses, the insults will lessen although there's always going to be bashers. With the Chinese netizen population as big as it is, there's always going to be people saying stupid things somewhere. Already, there's been a shift in more favorable comments from when episode 1 aired to when episode 5 and 6 aired.

And next episode is Yu Haoming with pretty hair!

I don't get why they don't like Hunan TV so much. Also if people don't like it they don't have to watch it. Anywy lets hope as it goes along they will stop criticizing so much.

I think the cast all go well together, they are all doing a good job as well. YHM hair is the nicest like that but the other style doesn't bother me now as I have got more use to it.

Just watched episode 7!!!!
The dress was a gift from Yunhai, but it was originally Yunduo's...so Yuxun got a little embarassed there.
Also, I think the "best friend" is turning evil and hanging the two mean girls.
Yu Haoming has pretty hair in this one (over joyed) ZhangHan's hairstyle at the dance kinda makes him look french lol
Also, there was another (shorter) shampooo commercial...haha lol

Duan Mulei is such a player, asking two girls to the dance =P
So is Shangguan Ruiqian, he got Yunduo to be his "date" for the dance...poor Yeshuo...haha

Well, Hunan TV does a lot of things to promote that people don't like, for example...

- Putting out really, really bad promo pictures of their own show/actors to get people talking
- Zeng Yike

I love episode 7 so far... Murong Yunhai is totally the stupid jerk who always says the wrong thing even though he tries to be nice.

Are there really so many commercials? I never watch anything as it airs in China, usually I just wait for downloads. America seems to have more...watching Gossip Girl was worse.

I'm a bit worried. Duan Mulei isn't perfect either in this. He's very polite but rather aloof. This is beneficial to the show, because it's much easier to ship Yuxun and Yunhai, but Yu Haoming needs fans. His album is coming out soon and I hope it sells well. One, because I like Yu Haoming...he's pretty well rounded and such a sweet guy irl. Also because eeMedia has a whole bunch of other artists in line...if Yu Haoming's CD sells well, Wang Yuexin has a better chance of releasing his earlier!

It'll probably be released sometime at the end of August or early September. This show is like free promotion for the movie Le Huo Nan Hai (with him and Wei Chen) and then both are like free promotion for his album release. Wei Chen needs one too. Supposedly Wei Chen has written enough songs for an album already.


I love that woman who is in control of managing all the little things in the school. She's so funny.
