Yeah, Windows Movie Maker's probably your best bet. If you own a Mac, you could possibly use Final Cut Pro. Otherwise, WMM would still get the job done.

thank you for your suggestion, but as I used Windows Movie Maker its doesn't have so much effect i think the presentation will just look like as you used MS Powerpoint. when I used it ( WMM ) and add some subtitle( am I right ? its subtitle the text over the images) i can't control where to put the text it has only a few option where to put it..
but thank you for you concern

Yeah if you want to get into more professional looking stuff...go Adobe Premiere (CS3 or 4 would do...more CS3 since it requires less ram yay torrents and keygens =]).....I'm just not sure if you can learn it in time for your brothers wedding as you basically have to do everything manually...set the picture length, the fades, etc etc...

Sony Vegas is also nice, sort of user friendly.. And as for effects, they both have nice effects. you can also download effects too..

Sony Vegas is a better program to me. I've used Vegas less then Premiere Pro, but overall I think it's a lot more user friendly. I actually take a Video Production class and even my teacher tells me that Adobe Premiere Pro is bad and people in the business would never touch it.
If you have a Mac, go for Final Cut Express or Pro.
If you have a PC, go for Sony Vegas.

I used to use SonyVegas for audio, I would assume the video program is similar? Didn't seem too hard to pick up the basics by messing around with practise videos.
