ok soooo I like this guy he's 2 yrs older than me
(Im freshmen, him junior) and like we know each other from our first sem. class
And like we used to talk a little now we rarely talk.

But whenever he passes by me (when he's not with friends) he says hi to me
Yet, when he's with his friends he says nothing to me, but smiles at me.
I am confuzzled by this.

And whenever I recommend something to him, he actually goes to check it out :/
Maybe I'm over analyzing that but to me, most guys wouldn't bother to check it out.
Also confused by this!!

And whenever we pass each other our eyes meet, and we are just staring at each other,
until we walk into each other's blind spots. :/

Yeah, from what you said, you seriously can't tell if he likes you or not. And every guy is different, he might be doing all the things that seems like he like you, but then again he might not. Best thing to do is talk to him more, and flirt around. Don't be shy, let him know you're interested by obvious actions. And if you're obvious, and hes interested, then trust me, he'll respond.

make sure he likes you before you hurt yourself!!! =[
guys tend to give out signals and we as girls like to overanalyze.
be strong and just think of him purely as a friend
(or imagine hes gay or he is female!) it will help you get over him knowing hes not interested.

You're over analyzing it but then thats what people do in hs.
Clearly there's no real sign if he does like you or not.
If he takes in your consideration of a recommendation, it doesn't mean he's interested in you. It's just what friends do, give input on stuff.

Well if you like him, go for it. Start talking to him, maybe hang out together, just with the two of you(if you're comfortable with that) or with a group of friends. But be careful to expose your feelings to him!
