Two nights ago my bf and I were talking and somehow the topic of his ex came up. I made this topic earlier (http://www.soompi.com/forums/index.php?sho...;#entry12014595) and since I was kind of curious I asked if he still liked his gf. He took a pause and few seconds later he replied with a no. And in my head it was kind of hard to believe cause if it was an answer you knew right away wouldn't you just say it right away? But I left it as it was. Then yesterday..the topic came up again. I asked again if he still liked his ex like honestly truthfully give me an answer. And he said he kinda have some feelings and memories with her. And it hurt to hear him say that. How can he get together with someone and think about another girl at the same time. I didn't want him to know I was crying so I just hung up the phone. And later on that night we were talking and he asked if I felt better what was bothering me etc etc and of course I told him what was bothering me..the fact that he still had feelings for his ex. And he said he had not talk to her for a long time or seen her and liked her as a close friends but it's just that sometimes memories kicked in. And I understand that. And as we talked some more he just said I don't want to talk about this (his ex) anymore. I made him..unhappy. And we just ended our conversation like that.

The main point is..I don't know what to do. Should I talk to him? But he doesn't want to talk about it. I don't want to break up because I'm willing to work things out..I don't want to give up or end it just like that. I believe every relationship out there is very precious. But I don't know what to do..I'm so confused. Help?

you're obviously shattered by it. and he thinks it's pointless to talk about the past, especially if you two break up over something that won't change and doesn't matter now.

you shouldn't carry the armfuls of gold just to cross the water... _if you're going to get through this, you'll have to risk losing him. otherwise you're stuck at square one.

but personally. i'd stick with trying to accept that
1. of course she misses her ex. i miss mine.
2. she loves me now.

if he said "i'm not completely over her" ....even then. he just wants to get over it. it doesn't really help to bring it up... x_x'
