well
it depends if your "scars" are red marks or actual acne scars ._.
if they're actual scars, like the scars that are kinda..cave in?
i dont think that those actually leave.. > <
i have like
2-3 of those :\
but if they're just red marks, dont worry, they'll go away xD
if you want to try a natural approach
try aloe vera gel (:
its an amazing moisturizer that doesnt clog pores and doesnt make your skin oily (:
it also heals red marks x]
good luck!~

i had a lot of scars before
but i went on
xanga.com/ricebunny
she's a life saver
she posted a little DIY face treatment for acne scars
i can't find the exact post now
but all you do is take a vitamin E pill & a fish oil pill
they're the ones with liquid inside
and you stab it with a toothpick so you get the oils out onto like a spoon or something, mix it together and dab it on the scars.
i don't have fish oil pills at home, so i just use vitamin E
ive been using this for the past week and a half and my scars are visibly lighter. so i can only imagine how much more effective it would be if you got the fish oil added.

I've heard that Bio-Oil is good for acne scars. It's a mix of Vitamins E and A.
I drop in from time to time. Sorry if I'm slow to reply.

I'm using this right now smile.gif

Clinique Website

I've been using this for about a month now and I seriously have been seeing improvement!

It's definitely worth the money that I dished out for it in my opinion.

yeah, it takes time but the scars will go away. definately the thing not to do is to pick or pop any pimples because that leads to the scarring. you could use concealer to temporarily hide them. using whitening soap such as papaya soap or a whitening cream will help fade the scars or for more help you can ask a dermatologist.

It just takes time.

My derm told me that scarring can take up to 3-8 months to fade away, but it also depends on your body/diet. Try to eat healthier, drink more water. The more you drink, the more you filter out the toxins from your body. The healthier you eat, the stronger your body is = can heal faster.

I've been using Neutrogena's Ace scar peeling mask (think that's what it's called) and it's been working well for me biggrin.gif

Me too! I have a few red marks, no scars or pits. It's easily concealable with makeup. I'm also using Neutrogena's Advanced Solutions Facial Peel. It's only been 1 week but it's evening out my skin tone and lightening the red marks. They also have another product in the Advanced Solutions line made specifically for red marks. But I heard it smells like vomit and a lot of people can't stomach the stench. It's supposedly remarkable. I want to get it and it's cheaper too! $10!!

I THINK THIS ACTUALLY WORKS~!! for scars in general at least..but not sure about acne scars..~~ =/~~
i have alot of acne scars too~!! it's all over my face and i hate it..and i remember once my mum caused this scar on my across my face and i was really upset [i think she was really guilty about it too..~~]..then she took a cod liver oil [fish oil] tablet and broke it open..then dabbed the liquid on my scar and covered it with a bandaid~~ almost overnight that scar was like..gone..and i did it again the next night..and within 3 days..it was no longer there~~ =D~
but i never actually thought of using it on acne scars though =O~!! THANKS~!! i think we should all give this a try ;D~ i'm sure it won't hurt even if it doesn't work ;D~~

Well, anything with Vitamin E will help your skin heal itself. This includes extra virgin olive oil.

Other than the obvious (drink more water, get 8-9hrs of sleep, ..etc.)

I'd go to a dermatologist and see if they can prescribe you DORYX. It helps fasten the healing of acne scars, and also kills acne causing bacteria.
