be it a gun, a baseball bat etc.

i currently don't, but thinking of it considering how many road raged ppl there are on australian roads. i hear quite a few ppl do actually leave a bat of some sort in their car. the closest thing i got is that kit in the boot used for changing tires tongue.gif

I didn't know road rage was THAt bad on our roads for it to be okay for people to carry weapons in their car. There was that case in Victoria recently but I think that's really more of an isolated incident. Most people wouldn't have gone nuts like that because it's so not worth it. And no, I don't carry a weapon in my car.

^its not really there for attacking ppl straight away, more of scaring them first, and worst case for a fight. road rage happens a fair bit, but i suppose it depends where u live. i've heard from others that some as*holes will follow your car. in that sort of scenario you sorta need something if your no where near a police station

The closest thing i got to a weapon is my fire extingisher, which is always within reach (under the driver seat). Oh the things you can do with it (spray it, toss it, beat someone over the head...).

i wanted to but my boyfriend told me not to, since i have anger problems ima prolly end up bashin some beezy so he says.

just over the weekend my boyfriend received calls about his best friend being locked up but no one knows why, they just got the calls and alll of us showed up at the station to find out what's wrong. he was released 2 hours after and he got a ticket for having a flathead in the car cuz his car's not the best ride so he keeps it there to fix the car. and funny how he got caught was he's on the passenger of his car and the driver was test driving the car cuz he was gonna buy it, but ended up he has a suspended license. how they got pulled over... no reason, he has a nissan 240 and it has a "illegal" exhaust that he didn't slap on.

I have a CCW. I practice my 2nd amendment right everywhere.

I won't bother since I won't read the rules and they won't accommodate.

I leave a baseball bat in my trunk along with a pair of baseball gloves (you know, just in case the cops decide to inspect my car, they don't just see a bat, they'll assume i play baseball! biggrin.gif)

Did you know an empty glass juice/water bottle (like Sobe or Arizona Teas) is considered a weapon by the police? Yikes.

most blunt weapons (bats, nunchuks, brass knuckles, batons (fixed or collapsible), are felonies (at least in CA). Carrying a handgun though is only a misdemeanor mellow.gif

Like another person said, if u have a baseball bat in the car, better have a glove and baseball next to it if a cop decides to search your car.

Or carry a MagLite flashlight (still great for hitting people but it first serves as a flashlight so cops won't really say anything).

Or as another person said, a fire extinguisher is great. You can hit people with it and/or spray them (heard it drops people faster than pepper spray). Cops won't question u at all for having one in your car, no matter where it is located (this is all assuming u haven't assaulted anyone with it and got caught). Plus if your car catches on fire somehow, u can extinguish it before your whole car gets burned.

I use to carry a bat in the car, but now I sport a MagLite flashlight and 2 fire extinguishers.
