Ever since I accidentally washed my MP3 player its been acting weird...
Yes, it took a couple weeks for it to dry up and for it to function again. I thought that everything was going to be perfect and normal again but...
sometimes when I listen to it, it'll die on me. Batteries are full, not even half way done yet and it'll die on me.
I press the on button but it doesn't work. Then I just leave it in my pocket.
After a while or so... it starts to heat up... >.<

Once it's done heating up, it cools back down and I can turn it on again.
But when I turn it on, it says that batteries are low.

Does anyone know if this is good or bad?
I have a feeling it's bad but still... should I get rid of it?

& I can feel you letting go.

What kind is it?

I think its still wet inside. Personally I would take it apart to let it dry, and or replace the battery

^It's a Sansa/SanDisk.

Hmmm... I haven't tried replacing the batteries.
But I did dry it the first time I found out I washed it.
But I put it right back in after I wiped it.

Maybe you should let it sit (Does it use like AA batteries?) if it does then just open the flap... If its rechargable you can consider opening up the screw and just opening up the back to let it air... I think it just needs to completely dry.
