Hey guys.

There are first dates, first kisses, first make-outs, first etc....and then there are first breakups.
I just had mine. I was like everyone in love: I thought our relationship would last forever...
I'm the one who got dumped. He called me and told me to come outside. And he just..broke it off..without an apparent reason...

Yeah, so how did your first breakup go? Who dumped who and why? How long did it take you to get over it..because.. I think i'm going to take a while.....

I don't mean to make this an "emo" thread haha. Just a place to share our experience...because let's face it. we're all bound to go through it sometime (unless you haven't been in a relationship...or unless you're living in a disney movie lol). So, feel free to share!

My first breakup was in 12th grade (freshman in college now, haha so not too long ago) It was with my first boyfriend, and honestly it was a huge relief. I was definitely not ready for a relationship at the time, and he could feel that I just wasn't into making the relationship work. So we spoke on the phone. It was like a big weight lifted off of me and I felt good and free. It also made me available for prom and I ended up going with the guy that I'm currently dating (though we didn't start dating a bit after prom), so in the end it worked out.

haha, well my first relationship was when i was 11. it lasted for like 5 months, and we never kissed or held hands. we said i love you a lot, went to movies a lot, wrote eachother love notes and talked on the phone, hung out everyday after school. it was cute. i even met his parents.

the break up was pretty bad. a guy friend i had told me that he was avoiding my calls, i actually think the guy friend just liked me now that i think back, but the next day i just told everyone we broke up.
and he got pissed, asked for money back for all the movies he's taken me to watch.
then he started calling me flat faced b-----

and he was really mean to me =(

Well it was a hot sunny day. He was walking me home from his house
and then he said to me, "lets go on a break." I basically teared up
but I was trying with all of my might to not show it and muttered, "why?"
To sum things up, he was a chicken. He should have told me it's over
because all summer I was crying, not wanting to get out of bed,
and thinking there was still 'a chance'.
Haha. I was so young and naive back then. It makes me laugh.

i was really bad back then. never went to school
stole stuff, drink, fights. all the bad things yu can think of.

It lasted till 1month and 2 weeks, i think?
she broke up with me because her sister (22yrs old) heard about me doing bad stuff and everything.

I didn't really care because she wasn't that great and wasn't a girlfriend. Our relationship was quite dead/

My first major one was in Year 8... it was my current boyfriends birthday, but we weren't a couple then. I was with this other guy. But all through the relationship I had a crush on my current bf... so I broke up with the guy I was with then. It was like, "I think we should break up." and he went, "oh okay... thanks for nothing pinkberry." (or something like that). I got up and wished my current bf who was just some dude I crushed on a happy birthday... and went on my way. XD Month later got with my current bf. :D Kinda glad I broke up with the other dude!

But then, I broke up with my boyfriend of now. Well, he broke up with me. It didn't really last long. But yeah, we had an argument on the same day, over something really stupid. I was really annoyed (for no reason) but I'd thought it'd just pass over. I was sat at home and he rang me, saying, "I think we need to breakup.". First thing I said was, "Oh no we don't!" He came to mine and we talked it over on my doorstep. There was no saving it and it was over. ;-; But a month or two later, we started hanging out again. The attraction was still there... and we ended up kissing. XD
We messed on with eachother and even had sex, but we weren't in a relationship!! XD But I was like I ain't digging this friends with benefits and we became a couple on August 5th, 2008. (and are still going strong~ Always a light at the end of the tunnel!)

my first real break-up was when i was 17. he already in college when we started dating, and lived an hour away. it wasn't a college i was interested in attending or anything either -- we just parted ways peacefully and we're still good friends to this day.

My first break up - oo gosh, I think it was mutual. I saw it coming, and she wanted the whole thing to be quite painless, so one thing I could do was take it like a man. I didn't want to be with a girl that didn't want to be with me anyway.

10th grade. I saw it coming. We had stopped talking to one another. Tons of drama because my gf told me what he was planning and I flipped out on her. I mean flipped. the. john tesh. out. He broke up with me online and I got sick from it. Went to school the next day, started bawling, friends comforted me and threatened him. I felt so loved ;_;

Made up with friend afterwards. It should ALWAYS be chicks before Richards. Always.

I moved to London and he stayed in Sweden but we both liked each other too much to end it there so we tried but the distance eventually torned us apart so we had to end it but managed to stay friends. However, I had a couple of re-bounds and someone took a picture of one of these times and uploaded it on facebook, so my ex saw it and i noticed he got affected by it. A week later I found out that he KISSED one of my best friends... I found it so disrespectful that I stopped having any contact with him. Haven't spoken to him since and don't have any plans on doing that either.. Kinda sad really but that's life! So now I'm looking for the man of my dreams in London city! lol ;P

hmm my first "relationship" was pretty stupid lol. I was 14, and we went out for 1 month. I was really sad when he broke up with me. Now that I think back at it... It was so STUPID ahahaha!! I can't believe that happened to me lol

Oh well I have the best boyfriend right now..and i'm 18 ahah 15 months!
