I would usually use facial wash and a benzoyl peroxide spot treatment for my acne. After a couple of weeks, I decided to stop using facial products and just splash my face with water...A pimple popped out of no where and I decided to dab on the spot treatment. Next thing you know it, I woke up with a huge red circle mark around my pimple. T.T Does anyone have this problem before? I don't know whats going on because this crap didn't happened to me before!

are you sure the redness isn't from the pimple?
its happened to me before, i was using BP at only 2%
then after a while, i suddenly got a reaction to it.
it made my forehead really itchy & red
the redness would stay for the entire day
i eventually just stopped using bp all together

I've never in my life been able to use BP. My face turns bright red, burns, etc. If it was just a spot treatment, I'd get the same reaction as you. I have to use SA. I hope you have better luck with SA.

this happened to me too. I use to use BP but then i decided to stop for awhile and when i tried to reuse it about a month later my skin got really sensitive and i had red spots all over. Some of my friends told me that BP is really bad for the skin. Your skin becomes addicted to it and after you stop using it there's a period of time where you break out really badly, and when you try to use it again, it doesnt work....>_> I never dared to use it again.

You can try tea tree oil, it works better for some people with acne.

This happened to me too! i used to use BP for my face, but when my face cleared i stopped using it. But then when i got a zit, i would put a little BP on it and the next morning i would get a big red spot around my pimple and it would be so itchy and hot!
I donno why that happens, probably because your body got so used to the BP~

It happens to a lot of others too dont worry
My sister and I both have reactions to it so we stopped buying products with it and instead used products with salysic acid [sp?]
Woke up one day with red insanely itchy patches on my face and I still had to go to school...ugh the memories.

My skin got red when i used Benzoyl Peroxide
too. I splashed cold water on it and let it heal.
I'm definitely not going to use it anymore.
