What is the Laos culture like being situated between Thailand and Vietnam? In Vietnam, you have a lot of ethnic groups which in Thailand, you have a lot of people who are mix with Thai and Chinese or ethnic Chinese, etc.

No. Hmong are not Tai. The Tai ethnic includes Be (native Hainanese), Kam-Sui (Bouyei, Dong, Mulao, Maonan, Shui ...), Central Tai (Zhuang ... ), Saek, Kra (En, Gelo, Lachi, Buyang), and Daic/SW Tai (Dai, Lao, Thai ...). Though there are non-Tais who speak a Tai-Kadai language like the Lakkia people wo are ethincally Yao or the Lingao (Hlai) who are Han Chinese in Hainan.

I have some Lao blood in my venes =p but I don't know much about these artists,
it's quite interesting, I only know some Thai artist or some traditional songs that my uncles like to listen.

Thanks for the link to Nalin's 1st albm. I'm listening to it right now. I really like her voice and she has some really nice songs. I'm currently obsessed with Bor Van Taa Jing Jai, Yaa Jak Koy Pai, and Lom Pak Pao.
