"Zettai Kareshi" returns


Thu, February 12, 2009 (1:12am EST)

Fuji TV's live-action "Zettai Kareshi" series is coming back for a special episode. Based on the manga by Yuu Watase, the series originally aired from April to June 2008.

The special, titled "Zettai Kareshi ~Kanzen Muketsu no Koibito Robot~," is set after the end of the series. Mocomichi Hayami will reprise his role as the robot Night (Naito) Tenjo, along with co-stars Saki Aibu and Hiro Mizushima. The cast will have a couple of additions, with Ryoko Kuninaka playing a brilliant scientist and Asahi Uchida playing her assistant.

Fuji TV will broadcast the episode this spring.

Gosh... I didn't bother watching episodes 10 and 11 because I knew how it was going to end wacko.gif But the special with Night being present... hmm... I hope it's a happy ending for the humans biggrin.gif

Great news! I'm pretty psyched to hear they are bringing Mokomichi back as Tenjo Night. I've been watching the box set over and over again. I hope it's really good.

EHH I wonder where they're going to fit this in the timeline.. hmm.

Oh well, I enjoyed the dorama (though it actually didn't make me cry at the end.. instead my little brother did! xD!), will definitely be watching this.

I LOVED the jdrama, and it was the first time ever that I wished they diverged from the manga to have a happier ending....
