Hm, can you clarify by what you mean in the beginning? Do you mean girlfriends or friends who are girls? Because in the second sentence it seems like you are talking about just girls in general..

As for a guy who doesn't have any friends who are girls and is only interested in pursuing the girl he really likes, I would think that's a bit weird. I would think that maybe he is a little antisocial or not comfortable with girls, which is a turn-off to me. But of course I don't like it when the guy is a player.

I think a guy having girl friends is good, because then he'll be comfortable around girls and such. But if they're really pretty and b*t*hy then I won't think much of the guy. If the girl friends are nice and people who I'd be friends with, then fair enough. As long as he doesn't seem like a pimp/player.

And yeah that'd probably make them really awkward around girls because they're not used to spending time with them lol.

I wouldn't think badly of him if he had no girl friends as long as I knew that he can get along with girls and be friendly at least the minimum amount. I myself only have one male friend at school (although I have and have had several others back at home) and don't spend that much time with him, but I have no problem getting along with and being friendly with guys. I do it all the time, I'm just not more than friendly acquaintances with them. I really don't actually think it's that strange to have all of your actual friends be of the same sex, and I wouldn't think badly of a guy for that, but I would think it strange if he just never even talked to girls.

I guess I don't really care if he has no female friends as long as he can still interact with females (especially me), I'd think it perfectly fine and normal for a guy to have a small number of girl friends, and one of my guy friends in high school was only friends with girls which was weird but would still be fine with me as long as they were nice girls and not b***hy, catty types. I'm much more turned off by the guys constantly surrounded by catty airheads than I am by friendly guys who happen to have no female friends.

Well, my bf are acquainted with girls who he's met and chit chatted with in person so when we go out and he bumps into them they'd say 'hi' and what not but he doesn't have girl (friends) who he keeps in touch with on a regular basis such as phone calls, emails and etc. All of the girls who he's converse with on the phone were girls he was interested in. It doesn't seem weird to me that he doesn't have close friends who are girls, hey I don't mind at all... hahaha.

I might be a bit judgemental on my part as I say this but I think guys who has close close girl (friends) are more emotional guys in which they're not afraid to share feelings and experiences with others. The guys who I can actually call 'friends' who check up on me and calls me here and there just to vent or what not are more sensitive. My bf is the complete opposite.

Hmm actually I wouldn't mind if he had few to no girl friends. I mean as long he knows how to treat a girl right and get along with me.. and at least has guy friends.. I'm fine with it. If he had a lot of close girl friends, I'll be easily jealous haha. I think my answer also has to do with the fact that I don't have a lot of guy friends.

first off i'd be jealous and secondly i'd be irked off and go find some one better.
my previous bf had so many girl friends... i was so jealous, but i didn't say anything. it didn't work out anyways. depends on the person i guess.
