However, Eliza Dushku ruins it for me. She's great in those action sequences... but playing vulnerable and blank... she's cringe-worthy.

You know, I was trying to figure out what made the show so boring for me thus far and yes... it's Eliza Dushku.

Dushku, Williams and Acker. So gooooooooood.

I never cared for Buffy and Angel, so if it wasn't for Whedon's Firefly/Serenity, I might not have given this show a look.

Friday night death slot = typical Fox move.

Totally!! I never really liked Angel. I watched Buffy for awhile until it became absolutely ridiculous because she kept rising from the dead. --'

Firefly was so freakin' awesommmmee!!! biggrin.gif

I miss the recent episode but I caught I think the one before that where she was going on a date with this guy then ended up being in some kind of twisted date game where he hunted her. anyway, what's with the police? is he her boyfriend or something? I think little by little, she's remembering what she did biggrin.gif can't wait to watch rerun of the latest episode tongue.gif

Oh yeah, sick guy get his kicks hunting people. When the tables turned when Echo got a hold of gun from her care taker. The dudes all caring for his precious life now. Tried sweet talking his way out. That game there reminded me of Eliza's past movie "Wrong Turn" Except the dude not all cannibal...

===

The recent one pretty twisted on the singer and her fan going on there. Her care taker starting to rub off some father figure about his little girl...Echo...

OMG, I really liked this past episode...
thought Taffy (Echo) and that one dude in the vault with her
were cute together until he went cuckoo-cuckoo and smacked her in the
face...
Remote wipes...how are they even possible?? lol. What did
they do to ALPHA to make him this genius??
TOPHER was extremely ANNOYING to me...blehhhhh...he couldn't shut
up about how remote wipes aren't possible...yaddy yaddy yahhh...well, IT
HAPPENED, DIMWIT! lols.
As for next week's episode...I feel like Joss is going about
this too fast...making Echo screw up as an Active too soon...she's the "best"
Active and yet, she's the one who screws up the most??? *confused*
STILL LOVE THE SHOW :]

well i still don't understand how come that they always send Echo to the hardest and most dangerous "missions" when it's clear since like the beginning that she is "hunted" by Alpha (or someone...but yeah prob Alpha)
and what is more weird that Victor always get back his memories with the detective...and still isn't it weird how X days passed he gets them back and can still continue like that days did happen to him too? i mean they get the imprints from someone elses's memories and abilities...but he gets back this one over and over, and noone else lived through those days to get the imprint of...okay...i'm getting a bit confusing, ain't i?...anyway still don't get it...

Who's Alpha? we've never seen who Alpha was right?

Echo's friend is freakishly skinny O____O;;

i feel bad because eliza dushku was always the badass in movies... even in bring it on she was the tough chick.

so far i'm not as super interested.. but i'll give it a few more episodes to see how it goes. if it's just mission after mission then it's gonna get old. if she gets bits and pieces of her different washed personalities her escaping or doing something about it might not even be able to span to the second season.

i'd like to see how they're able to bring forth another season... or if this is a one hit series.

Warning!! spoilers for DOllhouse! Read it at your own risk!!

Spoilers ahead. You have been warned. What has been read cannot be unread.

I was in the middle of writing another post about Dollhouse and was poking around the imdb page of Firefly and other related pages when I came across something oh-so-spoilerific.

Pages such as the profile of Alan Tudyk. Scroll down to #3 on his actor credits.

Alan Tudyk, Wash of Firefly IS ALPHA.

I actually had a Dollhouse marathon today, watching all five episodes to see if it's any good. And really, the plot is interesting, but at times it fails to catch my attention. Like, what is all this leading to? Most of the characters seem rather one-dimensional, but Topher amuses me. I'm interested in the mystery surrounding Echo, though.

Ahh, that is really interesting. And it's at the very end of the season, right? That's definitely a cliffhanger.

I love how Victor has man-reactions to Sierra! That cracked me up! I wonder where they will go with that story line and I hope they make it good. I'm finding I'm more interested in the supporting characters rather than Echo. I'm not saying Echo is bad, I just like the others more!

^lol, yeah, the man-reaction...
anyway if they don't get those cameras out of her, won't she loose her vision again when something hard knocks her head, like in some other engagements? i mean it's kinda silly...
oh and i totally feel sorry for the fbi's neighbour!!! poor girl!

^LOL, I find that Topher gets the most amusing lines with the "man-reaction" and crunchy lettuce and whatnot.

Future 'ship! Viktor/Sierra. That would be interesting. That vision thing, though - might come into play later on?

Am I the only one thinking that the girl next door might actually be part of something bigger later on? I'm not saying she's a doll, but hey, they can't introduce a character with an obvious crush on one of the main characters for nothing, right? Or maybe I'm just looking too much into it. Poor girl, though.

How come no one writes on this thread?????????

Tonight's episode was WOW!!!
CONFUSING!!!! So much happened that my mind was having
trouble processing what I was seeing and hearing...
Why did Echo tell Ballard that the Dollhouse exists? Is it some sort of
plan to get him to trust her so he'd back off the Dollhouse hunt??
What the hell happened between Mellie and Sierra's handler??
I was confused!!!! Is she an ACTIVE?? Was it a similar case to what happened
to Echo when she was brainwashed while on an engagement??
Has the Dollhouse figured out how to control NON-ACTIVES' minds??
AHHHHHHHHHH!!! :S
