Just go up to her, make sure she won't be able to run away from you, and tell her that it's been three weeks and she needs to pay you back.

Hahahah I have a friend exactly like this! They repeatedly say they only have card when she obviously knows i'll end up paying. Eh, whatever. I just pay. She drives all the time anyways and I work full time.

Next time, I think i'll just make her work for her food and make her drive somewhere far. Lol. Jk.

Anways, the best thing to do, is to just forget it. Just don't go out with this person anymore. I know it's frustrating but try not to make a big deal out of it. People like that are ... dry.gif . Do what I do, think of it as a trade off. Does this friend do anything for you that requires money IE. like my friend that always drives?
Some say i'm a genius, others say i'm crazy
but they all say i'm a little on the weird side

I always try to avoid this by casually offering to pay for them, especially when I get the 'feeling' that they're broke. I always have plenty of money... I'm not rich, I've just saved from previous jobs, I don't really spend on much other than when I have to eat or the very occasional impulse buy. But it's the worst thing to go hungry you know? You can sense that kinda vibe from somebody, so before things get awkward, I just offer to pay. Unless we're dining at some fancy restaurant, then I'm like ... No wai.

I've honestly never had a friend like that, so I don't know how much advice I can give you here except to refuse to pay for them again. Actually, if I were feeling particularly feisty, I would go out with her again, act like I'd forgotten about the last incident, and the next time she tries to mooch off you say, "Whoops, sorry, I don't have enough money to pay for yours!" So she's stuck there. Maybe they'll make her stay and wash dishes or something like they do in the movies hahaha. That'll teach her.

I've had the opposite sort of friend though, who makes you feel awkward because he always wants to pay. But I make sure that I pay for him half the time (even if I have to be sneaky about it, like paying for the bill while he's in the bathroom lol), that way I feel like we're even.

well, it's only a couple of bucks. Just don't go eat with her next time. On a side note, it's not only just the 2 dollars the machine charges you, your bank also charges you an additional $2.50.

Eghhh, this used to be one of my friends.

She once racked up a debt of 40 dollars [in a WEEK] and you know what she said?

"I don't feel like paying you back..."

In the end, her mom was like adsFDSLKkool-aidH YOU GOTTA PAY HER BACK.

As for you, however, start making convo with her and bring up the issue of the money. Or if she starts talking about going to restaurants again, be all "D< Hey, you still owe me money from those dinners! You're paying next time." Tone it however you want. xD

G'luck~

honestly, i don't think she's gunna pay you back ^^;
don't hassle her for 10 bucks cause that's just gunna make you look and feel like a jerk ><
i know it sucks, but just let it go
and since she's only an acquaintance, don't go anywhere with her anymore, or try to avoid situations that involve money

You know what I hate? When I ask to borrow people's money and when I pay them back the next day, they say, "Nooo don't worry. Keep it, it's not even that much!" Then I shove the money in their pocket and they smile and walk off. Seriously, people should stop trying to act so nice these days.

That girl is being totally lame. I am sorry you have to deal with that.
You are both mature enough to handle it. You did good, she didn't.
If she is going to avoid you for this, she isn't worth the time... xD

I usually don't mind paying for my friends if it's not like a fancy meal.
My rule... you treat me and I treat you, it should be mutual~

If you said you didn't mind paying for her, don't let it get to you. Now you already know what kind of person she is.
