and he's the first caucasian guy i've liked in a loooooong time. I mean, after dating asian boys, I never thought I'd go back to other races hehehe... asian boys were more romantic (not trying to start arguments here, just telling you my experience).
But I always feel as though when we're together, I feel more insecure when a pretty white girl passes by. I always think 'wouldn't he rather be with HER than me? I'm different.'
I asked my close friends and sisters about this and most of them said 'you should feel exotic, not insecure'
I just laughed really hard when I heard that... but now I want your opinions =)
what do you guys think about it?
if your s/o was of a different race, would you feel threatened by girls in his race?
absolutely no bashing or racial slurs! i don't want to hear anything about which race is better or w/e. that is completely off-topic

but to answer your question, i wouldn't think much of it.. if he likes you, he likes you and a random girl from his own race probably wont change that..

If he likes someone of his own race then it's because of her, not the fact that she's is white skinned etc

this is for celebrities though, not like real real loves.

Race is just color and individualistic aspect of a person. Just like love, it has no boundaries and it has many different types.

But I feel really insecure, as most Asian girls are really pretty. Buuut, a lot of them have liked him, and he chose me over them, so I'm not worried too much. ^^;

I mean, if I felt threatened then we probably wouldn't be together.
Just think of it like this. Sure, there's tons of pretty girls and everywhere and he knows that too but he picked you and not one of them.

I have the biggest crush on an Asian boy right now and I'm a white girl with blonde hair and blue eyes.
I still feel insecure, not b/c of race but other girls from all ethnicity has a crush on this fine piece of Asian a*s.
So I wouldn't worry about the race thing, just worry about other girls period.
You have him, then good for you.

My parents are an inter-racial couple and they're as happy as can be.
But I recently broke up with a white guy and I had to tell him off for ALOT of offensive jokes. He just thought they were stereotypical and therefore funny but really he sounded like an ass and I'm glad it's over.
Also it depends on cultural intelligence vs ignorance. He was very ignorant and was more concernced with getting a few cheap laughs than having a single shred of dignity which is the complete opposite of my white father who is quite intelligent.

But then I know that he hasn't had interest in any other girl since he met me so that kind of makes me feel better . S:
