err ... I'm not sure if I exactly understand what you mean, but why not ? If you both like each other then give it a shot and have a gay old time.

Also, what the saying means is that when you hate someone, you're still giving them the same amount of influence over your heart and mind and actions as you would if you loved them ... You're still giving them attention and part of yourself. So hate is not like the opposite of love, it's more like anti-love ? That's what I was told it means, anyway.
The opposite of love/hate is absolute apathy. Sorry for the analysis, I just thought you might be interested to know. smile.gif

the opposite love isn't hate/dislike.
it's indifference.

since love is to care deeply. it should be right that being indifferent/careless is the opposite.
disliking someone would be to care that there's something wrong/disagreeable with the person, and be against that.

_ and.. eh. the question. my answer... love comes from all funny places. lol

just... if you were to ever try and change her, just do it for the right reasons.... not just because it would suit you if she was more louder.

Well see when ur in like high school or like primary school, shy guys like to use terms to hide there interest in girls. Like it makes it more easy to talk about a girl that u obviously have feelings for. Like u'd talk about how bean pie or like ugly she looks and hurtful stuff or how u hate them doing this or this....basically it's just to hide it since ur afraid if she finds out ur interested that u'll blush and like die....

But like sometimes u can like dislike someone and it's cool....

you lost me o_o So .. you 'dog' this chick each time you see her? And she always stares at you with her head down low...

Maybe I'm slow but yeah I'm confused by the 'dog' part and the staring with her head low when she's near you. And you don't see her anymore? How would that work if you're trying to be friends with her or more...

How can she stare at u? if her head is down low... unless your smaller than her?

hmm...

N no, i don't think disliking a girl means u like her.. anyways, u didn't dislike her for a good reason. Just because she's shy and look weak, doesn't mean that's a good reason to hate someone. what kinda person are u? ..

then there must be alot of people u dislike then, if that's the case. How can u dislike someone u don't know?

Hmmm...
Open your eyes O_O ..

Originally, extreme dislike is another expression of extreme fondness. I got that saying from a korean drama. "What Star Are You From?"

Good luck on the girl.

But are you serious? Extreme dislike=extreme fondness? Well guys now you know why girls like Tom Cruise. *rolls eyes*

[edit] Did not know that Tom Cruise is swear filter for @55holes...lol great job soompi!

well at least i'm not confuse anymore. But uhh dude i think you shouldn't take the drama serious. "Extreme dislike = extreme fondness" Kdramas/Tdramas whatever drama they are, are called dramas for a reason. They tend to create weird stuff x] Soooo don't take it serious

For all you know it's probably a crush or a moment thing. Anywho just get to know her? Doesn't hurt nor does it kill ya smile.gif

Now, I feel like talking to her and being with her forever...

Sounds like love/infatuation @ first sight!

No, I think it's true in a way. Watch the kdrama "What Star Did You Come From?" . That's a good example.

Well you see, dramas and real life are different.

But hey, go for it, talk to herrrrr, make a move wink.gif
