Hey I have a few chemistry questions I would like to ask, if anyone could help, that'd be great.

1) What happens when a mixture of carbon, oxygen and hydrogen are heated?

2) What are the observations when a mixture of NaCl and sand is - mixed with water
- filtered
- filtrate allowed to evaporate?

1. not really sure on this. you get water..? and co2 maybe?

2. when filtered, you get the nacl dissolved in water as the filtrate and the sand left on top of the filter paper
when allowed to evaporate, the water turns to water vapor and you get solid nacl remaining
