whenever i save pictures that are written in korean words and of other formats like .gif and .jpg ..it changes the pictures format to .bmp ...is there any way to solve it...the pictures size becomes big and all is being named to be untitled ... hope that there is a way to solve it without having to reformat the picture..thanks in advance..

Just rename the file to the appropriate format. xD

eg. From filename.bmp to filename.jpg

What are you saving them in? It could be the program that doesnt allow special or foreign characters.

hmm..i am just saving it in my computer in a folder.. but if i try to rename them as .bmp to .jpg the file size is just not the same as the orignal file.

Hmmm... well let's see. Did you make the pic/w korean words yourself like in photoshop? or did you copy the image and try to save it?
If you made the image yourself in photoshop or another edit program you should be able to save it.->>by going to file save as-> then it'll say save in: on top you then click on the folder you want to save the pic in-> at the bottom it'll say save type: and you should be able to change the type to make it .jpg.

Same thing if you got the pic from the web/internet you can then just right click on the pic and save image as like above.^^

i am trying to save the pics from other website..but whenever the photo is being named in korean(in original source) i just can't save it as jpg since the "save type" is only in bitmap . and this only happens in my internet explorer...and in the firefox it can be saved in jpg format.

Why are you using internet explorer anyway.

One more point towards firefox.

Although IE does work quite nicely with Windows7, with the superbar and stuff.
