i have a big problem with the sat's. at first i start out alright, nice and calm without anything else in my mind but once i get halfway through it, my head starts to hurt like hell like up to the point where i wanna just collapse. i also get pissed and sometimes i just get sick and tired, just filling out random answers. i get sick of passages that i just don't even read them, cuz i get pissed off. how can i prevent myself from feeling like this? btw, i haven't taken the real sat's yet. i've been taking SAT model tests at my learning center for 3 days straight now and it's killin me

How Can I Stop Feeling Pissed Off During Sat's

Well, I think I had a similar problem... but it was mostly because I felt like I was being forced. When my parents started 'forcing' me into SAT classes, I was so angry and easily irritated all the time that I went into depression...
But after I had some time alone thinking about my future, I started realizing the importance of SAT. When I took the SAT, all I had in my mind was:
"It is for that future job!"
"No pain No gain!"
"It's just a fence I have to climb over!!"
Of course UNIVERSITY is the main reason, but I like to think about far off goals...
I just kept saying to myself that I got to do it.
Stuff like that... So basically what Im trying to say is, maybe put a goal in mind that your working for. Make it appear whenever you feel like you've had enough.
You'll soon feel like there is a special reason why you are killing your bum on that chair.
I'm no studying machine, nor am I amazingly smart. My SAT scors won't impress many, but what did impress ME, was the big difference in the score from my angrily written practice exam, to my REAL exam that I wrote with a purpose.
I hope I helped in a way. Its just from my experience, and I'm GLAD that part of my life is over...hahaha-
GOOD LUCK ; )

Suck it up, we all had to go through it.
Put a sock in it if your not going to be helpful about it.

Maybe you shouldn't be taking practice tests for like 3 days straight...
Doesn't do much good to cram for the SAT.
If you need to study for the SAT, you should study a little by little over a span of months or weeks.
For example, only do ONE section every other day - which is only taking about 25 minutes of your day; barely anything.
Once you've been doing these sections for a while, overtime you get used to them since you've been doing them frequently.
Just calm down and don't stress over them so much. Nothing on the SATs is on something you've never learned before.
Just think clearly and if you don't know it then just skip the question and move on.
Maybe chew a piece of gum or candy during the test. (I forget if gum is allowed or not..)

^ yeah. honestly, you just have to train yourself to endure through the tedious process. believe it or not, the more i did it, the more i liked it? haha i kind of liked that process of taking the test and hoping that i'd do better each time... i took it as if it was like a mini competition against myself (rofls). try to think positively as you take the test. there's nothing you can do much? and don't take more than one test a week b/c.. 3 days of testing? that's pure hell right there.
